I wish he got more credit for his defensive effort and then He got into Halliburton’s head early in the game. Messed with his confidence . Hali couldn’t guard him and he kept going right through him. Hali didn’t play how he normally would which benefitted the Celtics. I love what JB is contributing this season. Probably has the hardest role and had to change his game the most among all the players on the Celtics. Thanks for that !
Love seeing JB play like this. Aggressive, urgent, getting in close to the basket whenever he smells weakness. He looked like he really wanted it this game.

Tatum and brown were lights out last night
So many seasons I’ve really not seen vast improvement over the summer for JB. But he’s doing so well at executing the game plan and patiently playing the game this season. I’ve rarely seen that early shot clock 3, forced dribble turnover – with exception to good defence and that forced pace he randomly does. He’s definitely reading the defence and playing at the correct speed and tempo. It’s now often JB controls the offence when things get chaotic which is really a surprise. He walks the ball down the court looks over at Joe then runs the play. So patient and controlled, really enjoying JB minutes.
