KFS is the best and Jeremy really should be hired as a capologist for a team. Even he’s not crazy about Murray from a fit standpoint but he’s looking at it from the prospective of having money and an asset for a big trade.

This is the 3rd or 4th player he’s done this with over the years, the Knicks acquired zero of them.. not saying the work isn’t legit but maybe he’s a jinx.

Interesting points
Knicks have had exploratory trade interest in Murray. Hawks had interest in Quentin Grimes in the past. Hypothetical Fournier/ Grimes deal would save Hawks around **21M** which get them out the projected luxury tax.
– **Hawks Receive**: Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes, 2024 Detroit protected pick, and Mil 2025 protected pick.

Is there a scenario where we don’t see the right player/fit, but trade Fournier to a team in what might be a 3 team trade, and in return get a large contract that expires NEXT year (basically converting his expiring contract this year to salaries that do the same, but next year)? Basically buy another year of that trade window and hope a true star becomes available?

Piggybacking everyone else here, Jeremy is one of the most intelligent knicks podcasters out there as far as salary cap and CBA rules go. Absolutely love every show he’s on

As a Celtics fan, whose starting to get into Knicks basketball and construction of the team, wondering about Jonathan Macri and if he’s generally liked by the fan base or disliked and if you wouldn’t mind letting me know why you hold this opinion of him? Thank you.
