At this point does playing Wiggins or not have any difference at all?
Starters
Steph, Klay, Moody, Kuminga, and TJD( or Looney)
It’s so weird that all of the playoff contender teams from last season can barely make the play in while the shit teams are in the playoff berth right now.
Suns, Lakers, Grizz, Clippers (before Harden trade) and Warriors are struggling to get into the play in, while Rockets, Mavs, Twolves are becoming better after the postseason after failing to make the playoffs last season. Feels like 2022-23 season but flipped upside down so far. Just a random thought anyways
I’m still 50/50 on whether the core sticks together. Drays pod seemed genuine but at the same time felt like another obvious PR move just like how he was “vulnerable” in the off season before he re-signed. I’m sure Lacob isn’t happy how Kerr has handled the development of young guys. If Kerr is gone I’m not sure another HC can handle all three still on the team. It’s weird but I think if it’s just Steph + Dray or Steph + Klay a new coach is doable but all three might be difficult.
morant out for the season with shoulder surgery … that takes the grizzlies out of any playoff contention going forward
if things continue it’s basically a 5 team race for the 8th, 9th, & 10th spots in the west between the suns, lakers, jazz, rockets, and warriors
