  1. Best win of the year followed by worst loss of the year, if you don’t like that you don’t like Mavericks basketball! And yea, this team needs a trade

  2. misbrichi

    Grant Williams tonight: 7 minutes, 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 blocks, 0 steals, 1 turnover, -20

  3. RhinoBugs

Not a good experience. I’m sorry to all who watched this tonight.

  4. Reddit-on-Reddit

Gonna watch YouTube videos of Grant Williams Celtics days because I refuse to believe that guy was this bad with them. People on this sub used to salivate over him.

  5. Acreativeusername69

Nico needs to make a trade or we’re in for another disappointing year.

  6. knb044000

How does this team expect to win without Luka and Kyrie scoring 40 each. They need to step up their game

  7. CountShabookie

Shit we could’ve had Tillman over Greens bum ass

  8. Diabolic_Bug_Man

Grant Williams couldn’t even crack 10 minutes against the walking hospital Grizzlies. Celtics fucking fleeced us.

Him and Josh Green should not be in Dallas by the deadline. There’s a stupid ass GM out there who thinks he can fix them

  9. lilsaucy32

    – This team is not serious. Cuban and Nico are not serious with the lack of rebounding and size. How many years do we have to deal with this? Honest to God question. Lively is 1 answer, still need 2 more front court pieces.

    – Another reason why the Mavs are not serious: every season in the Luka era they have had ~20-30 million in dead cap. This year it’s Holmes+Kleber being useless. Porzingis being injured half the time was 30 million. How many teams have 20-30 million of uselessness every season? Not many and it’s unacceptable we’re in year 6 of this team building nonsense.

    – Tired of watching the same script over and over.

  10. Hulabuga420

Trade everyone except Luka , Irving , and lively . I don’t care if the asking price is high . This level of play from our role players is too inconsistent to depend on. Fire egg man too.

  11. Pranker00111

THJ DECIDE TO BE ASS WHEN HE SEE THE TRADE RUMOR!!! FUCK HIM!!

  12. slimkid07

Why Kyrie Irving is your leading rebounder tonight with 8 boards, it’s time to do some shuffling or philosophy change.

  13. We desperately need size and rebounding. Enough is enough. It’s embarrassing to lose the rebounding battle that bad to a team with the biggest player being 6’7”

  14. Trigliceratops

I am fully aware this is recency bias overreaction but Grant Williams is the worst acquisition since Rajon Rondo

  15. Mavs need to make a trade for Siakam, get rid of anyone besides Luka, Kai, or Lively

There’s risk in every decision, but wasting years of prime Luka is getting frustrating

  16. rebelstand

Why is kyrie averaging the most rebounds in the team as of late and not just that most offensive rebounds in the team for the last few games this doesn’t look good I know lively is injured but what about the rest

  17. What happened to gwill and josh green. They both just fell off.

  18. uncleowenlarz

With Lively and Exum, this would have been a win. But we shouldn’t be relying on a rookie and an overseas steal to win against one of the worse teams in the league. This is evidence more than anything that we need to make that trade. Still too much of the old blood hanging around.

  19. jknets_tdot

    I’m ready for a trade.

Williams has been absolutely unplayable. Green is inconsistent. Hardy too. Maxi is MIA. No backup center.

Outside of Luka, Kyrie, Lively, DJJ and Exum, this team is mediocre.

  20. TZBlueIce

The role players have been on a brutal shooting stretch. Just not getting anything out of anyone else in too many of these recent games. DJJ, THJ, and Grant have all been shooting around 32% from 3 since the beginning of December, Josh hasn’t hit a 3 in 2024. Really hope shots start falling, and we need it to happen soon.

  21. Living-Librarian-14

Fuck Kidd and his sorry wack ass coaching style and approach. Luka needs to stop being such a visual pity party performer and needs to take upon a more strongheaded leader approach. Kyrie did well in attempting to will the team in the 3rd quarter but that doesn’t suffice with his sorry ass supporting squad.

EVERY PLAYER BUT LUKA, KYRIE, AND LIVELY SHOULD BE CONSIDERED TRADEABLE.

  22. Sorry-Lynx-2084

Major trades needed. We are not a complete team. We have 2 mediocre bigs and one awesome big that can’t stay healthy. We must turn into a big team.

  23. Darkphobia_

We were dreadful all around. Luka has to sit games to get healthy but I doubt he wants it or the team can afford it. Grant is just a ghost, Green does nothing offensively for yet another game and without Exum we’re lacking a plan C.

I don’t want to doom and gloom but we keep losing games we should be winning and it feels like shit. We can’t get some momentum going.

  24. Grant Williams a -20 in only 7 minutes. Laughable.

  25. Stevie_McGhee

“Are you crazy? Why would you trade all that DEPTH for Siakam?”

    “What depth?”

    😅

Went from “I love this team and get your Josh Green apology forms here” to “Luka and Lively are the only ones untradeable.”

  26. pimpfmode

All these people not wanting to get Siakam if we actually can are ridiculous. We need more defense and more playmaking that he can offer. This team needs to accrue really good players and the guy has been an All-Star. Teams like Memphis are going to pass us in the next year or two. They have multiple star to just under star level players and they’ll add another probably top three pick this year. OKC has already passed us by.

Use whatever we got to upgrade the roster. Green’s future is Europe after this contract. It’s sad watching what could have been. We had three of the top 36 picks and came away with garbage. Green isn’t starter. At best he’s a hustle eighth man. He won’t be anything more. I’m sick of seeing the excuse of him being young still. Bane was younger than he is now and kicked ass as a rookie. What a miss. Even Bey would be miles better. Of course some sunshine pumping Homer will come and tell me how much better Green is and his unlimited potential.

  27. letjooglet

We love Luka for his determination and never giving up but if you’re injured you got to let Kai cook…

  28. dopelicanshave420

Grant Williams died and they replaced him with some local fat dude from the ymca and they really thought we wouldn’t notice

  29. Fire Kidd, Trade Tim, Grant Stinks, Lukas hurt, Atleast OMAX has been progressing like crazy in the gleague could see him taking some curry and grant minutes

  30. Specific_Stock7768

It’s.pretty simple. We need legit backup bigs. That’s what killed us.

  31. OrganicHunt952

We need a big! Siakam would be nice but imo just a average big and PF would probably do better then trading our assets for a lone Siakam.

  32. jfrodriguez1983

    * Games like these highlights why if you have a chance to get Siakam, you take that chance on it. We have no size. 6’9″ 230 pound wing defender with 7’3″ wingspan makes a huge difference. He is like the Nuggets trading for Aaron Gordon, but a better version. Not just the defense, but it gives you a chance to sit out Luka when he clearly needs time to heal.
    * Grant is so awful man. SMH! He is so embarrassing out there. Tries to drive and loses the ball. Tries to post up and his shit gets blocked. The guy has a negative BBIQ. Go work on your 3 point shot and stick behind the 3 point shot cause you are awful at everything else. At this point I’d rather see OMax play over him. At least you’d get rebounds and a big athletic defender out there.
    * If THJ is not getting shots, why play him 30 minutes. He is not stopping anyone out there. His guys just got passed him all night.
    * I’ve been hesitant to trade Green, but the guy just hasn’t figured out how to contribute offensively with both Luka and Kyrie playing. His 2 best games since coming back have been 1 without Kyrie and the other without Luka.
    * Only thing positive for tonight: Hardy looking better since the beginning of the month. No longer trying to do too much and playing within the flow of the game.

  33. I’d be a little upset if I paid for tickets to go see that game.

  34. mmmmastermind

We have waay too many inconsistent players: THJ, Green, Hardy, Powell and so on, not to mention how Grant was ass past 2 months. Can only win games if our role players hit their wide open threes, how the fuck you supposed to rely on that.
