Kyrie Irving (33 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals) and Luka Doncic (31 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists) combine for 64 for the Mavericks in the losing effort. The Grizzlies improve to 14-23 on the season, while the Mavericks fall to 22-16.

mavs need Lively and a big not named Powell to contend. Rebounding was the difference maker in this one
Memphis exploited Dallas' weaknesses drastically. Since Luka and Kai focus on the team early on, Memphis' elite perimeter defense exploits it and Dallas doesn't know what to do. You got bane scoring 30 on their weak perimeter defense and no one is afraid of the bigs down below. Luka and Kai also need to establish their rhythm but due to the Grizzlies' defense they can't get there. Dallas needs better role players who knows how to win and how to get to a win consistently.
