WOJ: Memphis Grizzlies G/F Vince Williams Jr. is expected to sign a new three-year, $7.9M guaranteed contract. Williams — 47th overall pick out of VCU in 2022 — is believed to be getting the most guaranteed money coming off of a two-way deal.

Huge discount
great contract, taking advantage of your opportunities gets you paid.
LETS GO. Congrats VW
Surprised we pulled the trigger so quickly with Vince being able to play 50 games before his two-way eligibility was up, but there’s absolutely no denying that he deserves it
When Vince is starting on the championship team in 2 years this deal is gonna seem crazy
Deserved. Depending on how he develops going forward this could end up being a steal. Lets hope he continues to ball like he has been.
Good stuff Vince
Gigantic! I was completely off about BB but this is deserved
Hell yeah Vince
This dude is only gonna get better. Book. It.
Oh wow this what we up to
Does this season count as one of the three years?
con-fucking-grats Vince. Interested to see what young big we bring in on a 2-way.
If BC is still eying somewhere around All-Star then I think waiving Biz was the right decision, especially if he can come back later.
James Harden for 7.9 million according to the Suns commentators
Finally some good fucking news
Get that bag Vince letsssgooo you deserve it
A team option for the 4th year, Vince you got hosed lol

He has everything you want in that type of player. That contract could be a massive steal.
It sucks the news of Nick Saban is gonna get drowned out by this
Totally deserved. Like, there’s just no denying how he’s developed, how he’s committed to bettering himself, etc.
Like, I don’t like the pile-on that happened over KLjr over his weight —*a lot of shitty jokes made about his weight which… just unnecessary and unfunny*— but there was a legitimate argument that the fact that he would noticeably slim down during the season but gain weight during the offseason illustrated a certain… unwillingness? Lack of commitment? I dunno, just a situation where there was an argument to be made that he wasn’t showing the standard commitment one would think comes as part of the job and is expected of a player who did receive the message from the organization of “*We need you so we’re going to give you this contract.*”
There is no disputing the fact that Vince is wholly committed. They wanted him to be a defensive stopper and he went all in. From day 1, my guy was trying to maximize every single minute he was given. Well-deserved. Pay him the money he deserves now, not in another 23 games when he maxes out the number of games he can play on a two-way. Good to see the organization will do that for players who earn it rather than taking the cheaper route simply because the situation allows them to.

To the Moon!!!
I love Vince and think he’s worth more than this contract but I wish we could hit on a wing with some size, like a 6’8″ or 6’9″ guy. Seems like that’s something we’ve been missing forever.
Let’s gooooo, get that $$ Vince!
So who we getting for Bismack for Friday?
This is exactly where I want my ticket money to be going👏
