Great game. Tough loss. We lost because you can’t start the first ***5min*** of the 4th quarter without scoring a single point. Certainly not in a game as tightly contested as this one.

    * SGA is a superstar. Does he ever miss a mid-range jumper?
    * Wasted Highsmith’s best sniping performance of the season (5/7 from 3)
    * Jovic continues to blossom, particularly great minutes in the 2nd Q
    * I love Jaime but Chet is insane. We had a 2 v. 1 fastbreak 3rd Q and he swallowed us whole with them annoying ass lanky arms. It ain’t fair.
    * We shot well from 3 but Duncan had great looks and it just wasn’t his night
    * Herro with that horrible 3 late and getting devoured by Chet was a brutal end to the game

Even though we lost this was one of my favorite most competitive game of the season thru 3 quarters. See y’all Friday.

First time OKC beat the Heat since the bubble what?

Need Butler back bad to calm down this team. Seems like anytime we go down from a run, the defense just falls apart. I never want to see Isaiah Joe 4 ft away from behind the arc.

Anyway, Jovic and JJJ showing out today. Jovic is such a great fit with Bam with his playmaking and energy.

Love Dunc, but OKC found his kryptonite by just leaving him open lol.

  3. Dame2Miami

Tyler making a fool of himself man.

Hand the keys to Bam and Jaime.

  4. Ok I see why Chet Holgren is the leading candidate for ROTY

Hope Herro and Duncan can get out of their slump

  5. Own-Marsupial-4448

Man this sucks!!! They kept it close but felt like we could never truly win it!!

  6. surgeyou123

Thunder are a really good team. Going to be hard to beat them at full strength missing Jimmy and Kyle. We had chances but that 4th quarter cold streak was too much to overcome.

  7. Nickarooski

80% of this game was fun, but that other 20% was absolutely hard to watch. Especially the last minute of the game.

  8. justusinreddit

Herro has shot below 40% from the field yet again (7/21 tonight). he has been pretty inefficient recently. he now has shot below 37% from the field in the heat’s last 5/8 games. He needs to stop hogging and chucking the ball it’s hurting the tram at this point.

  9. Thunder fan – you guys might have the best commentators in the league. Our sub has been really complimentary of it all night, and we appreciate it.

Also, it’s time for the league to acknowledge Spo as the clear cut best coach in the league. I feel like he doesn’t get talked about as the best enough.

  10. BeefExtender

Until the majority of this sub admits Tyler has more in common with Jordan Clarkson than Donovan Mitchell the Civil War will continue.

  11. xlalalalalalalala

Very tough game. I hope Dunc picks up the slack.

  12. How y’all feeling about Herro?

Also, anyone else rather see Bouyea over Richardson?

  13. Ozymandias12

Once again, I am sounding the alarm on this team’s inability to beat any of the good teams in the West.

  14. Wobbie_lems

Jovic has been really impressive hope he plays more minutes. Fun seeing him out on the floor with Bam.

  15. BlackDragon361

Herro is good. But he’s still a work in progress. Not that guy yet

  16. CudjoeKey

OKC showed us what depth can do. They played 11 guys 10+ minutes while our guys predictably grew more tired as the game went on.

  17. avinash240

It’s obvious that the Heat players don’t have a ton of experience playing rim protectors with how they play vs them in games.

I was shocked Herro didn’t pump fake that to draw the rim protection attempt.

  18. gatorWRLD

Rooting for Tyler but he’s consistently proven why we’re always in the rumors for these others guards. Want him to succeed but it’s glaring how much we need a more consistent scorer like Donovan.

  19. Redmodtae

They need to explore moving Herro. Duncan has regressed when he came back.

  20. Redmodtae

They need to explore moving Herro. Duncan has regressed when he came back.

  21. Visible-Rutabaga9268

Felt like Tyler held his own through three quarters and just couldn’t go bucket for bucket down the stretch of the fourth

  22. coconut_groovey

Tough loss but a lot of good take aways, our youth are developing nicely

  23. achickenquesadilla

Herro with 5 more shot attempts than anyone else on the team tonight and still 4th in points scored lmao

  24. Expected loss but it hurts when it was so winnable. Oh well onto the Magic.

  25. Cockycent

Its the way the Heat opened the 3rd and 4th. Taking 3s from so far out when most of the game it was decent ball movement and a mix of paint attacks and open 3s.

The team mentally drift from what they were doing well at the worst moments.

They had multiple runs where they are keeping a 6-9 point lead, but then they stop doing whats working.

  26. Well the game was great for the first 2 and a half quarters and then shots just stopped falling, and then the doomers came out of their cave and started spewing bullshit ass takes. Other than that, Thunder are a really good fucking team, glad they’re out west. Onto Friday vs Orlando

  27. Herro has to stop trying to convince people he’s a star. He’s not physically capable of doing half the things a star needs to be able to do. Watching him try to create space in isolation for a 3 is fucking disgusting. His stepback is useless, he doesn’t go anywhere when he’s dribbling, his first step is slow as fuck, and his release is slow. He’s an idiot and makes awful decisions. Cannot impact the game positively to save his life. The guy is a fucking loser and the quicker he’s off the team, the better position this franchise will be in.

Either that, or he has to accept that he is a roleplayer. Stay off the ball, shoot open 3s off the catch, attack closeouts, run the occasional pick & roll. That’s it. He cannot do anything else

  28. Sebastiao_Rodrigues

The game got out of hand after Holmgren dialed up his D. This guy is freaking terrifying

  29. OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Spo I can never understand, why we put Love in when Jovic, Herro, Bam, Jaime and Haywood playing so well together. Love slowdown our offense in the 2nd half, wasn’t enough to overcome

We’ll get them nexttime tho, there’s alot of positives with that lineup, and I hope Spo goes to that lineup more often. There’s no reason to play Love in the 2nd half, when we’re playing a fast paced OKC team.

And Herro shouldntve shot that, that’s not the money shot. Idk what he was thinking

  30. Weary-Kangaroo-3883

Damn I wanted Jaime to will us to victory

  31. Dig_Doug2

A bit of a heart breaking defeat, even though the Thunder were favored. I’m just happy to see JJJ getting development. He’s the future of this team. We still played some damn good basketball too.

  32. Weary-Kangaroo-3883

Also Jovic compliments Bam very well

  33. Much_Conversation_11

We tried. Thunder are really good, objectively a tough team for us because they play so fast.

  34. Ice_Dragon3444

Good game but at the end OKC are a really good team, glad we were able to keep it close, onto the next one.

  35. Bam and JJJ brought it in 4th

    Herro was absolutely invisible

Made a few unnecessary extra passes, didn’t seem like he had faith in his own shot.

  36. DraymondBeanKick

Herro is at 54.9 TS% after tonights game. That’s 3.2% below league average. I don’t think the Heat can keep affording to let Herro be a usage hog with the starting lineup based on his performance. We’ve already seen them go to almost two finals with him out injured.

It’s probably in everyone’s best interest for Herro to move to the bench with the opportunity to potentially move back as a starter if he improves as a player in the future.

  37. TheRatchetTrombone

Just unlucky shooting and bad execution. I still think we are contenders. Just gotta keep improving. The defense in the third and fourth combined with the constant jack up threes from quick triggers were the issue. Just gotta tighten up the defense and refine the offensive execution. The thunder are good but I don’t feel like that they are unbeatable.

  38. No defense was played today. This team will continue to be inconsistent as long as Butler is out. He’s our superstar and the way he impacts the game is not really measurable by just box score watching.

Herro needs to be better and more importat SMARTER. Bam took too long to realize he could attack the paint.

JJJ, Jovic and Highsmith played great!

  39. EntrepreneurSweet846

Just me, I feel like Bam is back on thinking he can only shoot mid range jump shots, i feel like it’s a mental thing whenever there is a dominant big on front of him he becomes a scared chicken.

I hope Spo continue to play JJJ and Jovic together, i can see they have developed a good chemistry, like they know where the the other is on in an off ball movement.

I will not crucify Herro in this game, he may have a bad lapses but without him in the court, offense is stagnant, because Jrich and Dunc make it worse.

I hope we can already see a healthy lowry, jimmy, caleb and the dynamics of team/match-combo in full swing.

  40. Dolphhins

Can’t lie I’m tired of the Herro experience
