Meh, depends a lot on what’s gonna cost to get him. He’s a good player but his fit with Trae was terrible so his value is a little lower right now.
I feel confident to compete against those teams in a potential trade.

His attitude and defense have both been terrible for the last 2 seasons. He’s hot from 3 right now, but career-wise, he’s been bad. The second he went from the tank-heavy Spurs to the trying-to-compete Hawks, his entire identity fell apart. I don’t doubt Miami’s interested in trying to get Spurs Dejounte back and fix him, but I hope they don’t. The only redeeming quality would be his $18.1m salary being moderately cheap for his level of production.

I think more likely we’d be the third team in whatever dj trade. No trade really makes sense 1 on 1 unless the hawks hit the reset button and just want to trade him for picks

I’m gonna be honest i think I’d rather have him over herro heading into a playoff series, much better playmaker & defender plus he would allow Duncan to slot in at the 2

I like Murray. He has a chip on his shoulder and is a dog on both ends of the court. With our system, and our vets (Jimmy + Kyle) mentoring him, could be a real game changer.

Dejounte is a very good player & is good friends with Jimmy. Gives us much needed scoring punch, athleticism, length, and defense
