Postgame Live: Nets vs Cavs
Brooklyn took off the first three quarters on Thursday afternoon before trying to mount a comeback over the Cavs in Paris
From the tip it was clear Donovan Mitchell was a problem and the Nets only counter, Cam Thomas, once again started on the bench.
While the Nets did make the game at least entertaining in the fourth, Brooklyn once again loses and has serious questions to answer ahead of the trade deadline.

The strategy for this deadline should be to trade the vets to acquire more draft capital while acquiring some young skilled prospects or complimentary players like Wendell Carter Jr. or Tyus Jones…
Brooklyn has a lot of tough financial decisions coming up this summer and if they want to make a big move they need to make sure they have a solid structure first….
Lonnie walker , cam Thomas and Mikal Bridges need to see more minute together they are our offensive juggernaut! Watford is a good point guard I don’t know why he’s not playing more! Him and Cam Thomas have great chemistry together because of college
Cam Thomas was our best player by far he got rebounds he made plays he was playing defense and Offensively he was keeping us in the game
I believe there are teams interested in DFS and Royce. We may not get top dollar for them, but we should take what we can get and make room for some of our young guys to play. Spencer should come off the bench and not be re signed.
Today the Cavs and Nets came up in possible trade discussions involving Dorian Finney Smith and Dean Wade…
While Brooklyn should be trying to get as much value for Smith the Cavs are an interesting team…
If Brooklyn was willing to add Royce, Brooklyn could get multiple second draft picks Dean Wade and possibly Isaac O whose a young skilled defender who would be the big return in this trade scenario….
The picks are sunk cost. Blow it up . The entire starting lineup plus Royce should be traded. They’re not apart of anything bc this team is going nowhere anytime soon
Clowney couldnt make the trip but Ben Simmons with a bad back took a 7 hour flight to Paris. We cant continue to excuse away some bad decisions by the Nets organization.
