Heartbreaker
Knicks worked hard to get it down to 11 and this Randle + nobody else that can play Pg unit immediately put us back in a larger hole.
We CANNOT go into the playoffs with this backup PG situation. Don’t get fooled by deuce being a decent 3 point shooter, he isn’t a PG.
That horrible stretch while Brunson checked out made it so a couple of lucky bounces that lead to offensive rebounds made the difference. Personally that’s my negative takeaway. Dallas hit some insane 3’s early and a future HOF had an insane game, so can’t get too mad at the D personally

had a few blunders but thought this was at least Precious’s best game so far

Needed a rebound bad there at the end, poor bounce of the ball.
Valiant effort down the stretch but on to the next one
Loved the fight back from the boys. Too bad we couldn’t get that rebound on that last possession.
Definitely a missed call towards the end on the Josh Green charge, or lack thereof.

Credit to Kyrie, that was the best game of the season for him no doubt. The BS is from guys like Tim Hardaway or Josh Green killing our defense.
Team always had flaws post OG trade. Hope we get a backup PG soon

I’ve seen enough stretches these past couple games where we don’t score a field goal for 5+ minutes. Happened against Sixers, Trailblazers and tonight.
Leon got to get us a ballhandler at the deadline
Mavs got EVERY LOOSE BALL, every 50/50 ball, had 4 potential blocking fouls go their way and get the charges instead (while Knicks got zero charges in their favor) and Dallas shot 8-10 from the 3 point line in a quarter.
If this game is played 9 more times, the Knicks probably win the game 9 times. Beat the Grizzles on Saturday and start a new streak
Too much Hart not enough Grimes
Why wait the whole game to finally double Kyrie?
Really frustrating loss.
I know folks are going to overreact, but I can live with this one.
Kyrie should have been doubled earlier, plain and simple. But the guy was playing out of his mind tonight. When Kyrie is playing like that, it’s going to be trouble for us.
We had a really off night rebounding as well. I’m hopeful they’ll bring it back next game.
