Washington Wizards Waive Ryan Rollins My Thoughts!!
Yo what’s going on guys this Houston sports to back into the video today today the Washington Wizards have waved the 44th overall pick from the 2022 NBA draft Ryan Rollins who was drafted by the Golden State Warriors last year and played 12 games to the Golden State
Warriors I know this is not the reason why he was cut but uh the first the first thing I thought about when I saw that the Wizards were waving Ryan uh Rollins is a video I saw of a couple weeks ago when the warriors were playing the Wizards the current team that
Rollins is playing for um well well or at this time the current team he was playing for the Wizards were going up against his former team that he was drafted by last year played 12 games for last season would have played more but had season ending injury had I I don’t
Remember the exact injury but I remember he did have a season ending surgery um and missed the rest of the year and it was like midseason played 12 games but Golden State traded him in the uh in the Jordan pool trade him him Patrick Baldin Jr
And uh Jordan PA Patrick Baldin Jr and Ryan Rollins were sent to Washington and as you know Warriors got Chris Paul Ryan Rollins when when the when the Warriors played the Wizards to Ryan Rollins Wizards player made a little mistake he forgot he was playing for the Wizards he thought he
Was still playing with the Warriors because he went as as the Warriors are exiting their locker room to go out um to the court Ryan Rollins is comes into the Warriors locker room and he looks so lost um but I saw that video the other
Day and now he gets now he gets cut so it’s just kind of funny um but uh Rollins has played 10 games this season and his averaged nearly seven minutes per game this year with the Wizards he’s averaged 4.1 points per game this year when he’s been out there for the Wizards
And has averaged over one assist and one rebound per game with one steal per game and a half a block per game from three he’s shooting 66.7% although um he’s only took three three attempts so it’s not really much of a you can’t really judge off of three
Attempts field goal percentage though is 52% and he’s when he’s been out there and the 10 games in seven minutes per game he’s averaged three shots per game uh when he’s played but yeah let me know your thoughts on the roster move by the Wizards and cutting Ryan Rollins who was
A second round pick last year uh for the Warriors let’s go over what he did with the Warriors in his 12 games with the Warriors last season he only averaged two points per game with one rebound per game with one assist per game has not been much promise it’s not
Been promising at all really um Rollins is a point guard and we’ll see what happens with him uh who who might pick him up but um sure he had that injury last year with golden state and he didn’t get much of an opportunity to play this season with the Wizards so far
But I would think it’s either to the g- league or a two-way contract for Rollins let me your thoughts on the roster move in the comment section and peace out
