Led by Kyrie Irving’s season-high 44 points, the Dallas Mavericks defeated the New York Knicks, 128-124. Irving added a season-high tying 10 assists and 6 3PM, while Tim Hardaway Jr. notched 32 points, 4 assists and 6 3PM for the Mavericks in the victory. Julius Randle (32 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) and Jalen Brunson (30 points, 8 assists) combined for 62 points for the Knicks. The Mavericks improve to 23-16 on the season, while the Knicks snap a 5-game winning streak as they fall to 22-16.

We all know how talented of a scorer Kyrie is but I’m impressed with the improvement in his passing(assists). I remember Lebron being disappointed with him after a game in which Kyrie had zero assists.

The mavs are built weird, they got the 2 best scoring pointguards in the league in the same team, then a bunch of random players around them. And when they're playing together, one basically has to limit himself not to take the shots that the other would take.
They're both capable of winning rings if you just put a good forward to play with them, Kyrie proved it already, Luka seems to be capable, but at current state they add nothing to each other, if anything they subtract.

Mavericks even going back to last year seem more fluid with Kyrie he was hot tonight folks understood that and got out the way but he also made sure they got touches and he was And he draws so much attention like people was getting amazing looks . Idk the Mavs are constructed backwards to me it seem like they are built for a player only like Kyrie or only like Luka but not both
