If you think our own players don’t respect ham

Imagine other coaches feasting at the moment lol. It’s embarrassing.

Does Ham know we can see him? lmao. Overhelping on the ball handler that leads to open threes is definitely his scheme. Reaves do this a lot. Now, if that’s not the gameplan or his scheme, that’s still on him and the coaching staff to clean that up cause the players been doing it A LOT this season.

Not every thing every player says is against Darvin. Bradley Beal had a hand in his face for most of his 3 point attempts. Reaves is not a disruptor on the perimeter. We don’t force players to take a different shot because we don’t have perimeter defenders that can contest without fouling.

    Please watch the games.

That’s the biggest lie ever told, lakers are one of the top teams that give up the most open 3 point shots.

And if you make those unguarded 3s you’re branded as “everyone is shooting good at Lakers”. Why was no one shooting good against Lakers 2020 champs all year round? Maybe because they have defensive schemes and defended against 3s.

Side question, what happened to reaves? Wasn’t his defense solid like a year or 2 ago? Honestly feel like Hams defense is just straight up non existent or his schemes are just terrible overall because wth happened to this team

  7. grjacpulas

Every team looks like Steph curry against us so I’ll believe Beal

  8. As big of indictment on Ham and our D as ever. And a reminder: Beal was 8/10 from 3.

  9. Wise_Ad_112

lol I can’t anymore with shit. Other teams players are mocking ham every post game and exposing him but he’s here to stay cause Jeanie said so

  10. Man…. Fuck Ham, he’s gotta be saved from himself or else we’re gonna not make it to the playoffs.

  11. Bradley beal shooting lights out against us shows the incompetence of our defensive schemes, and it all comes back to one thing bad coaching.

Our non existent perimeter defense and our inability to field an offensive line up when teams pack the paint against us is horrible.

  12. I wonder WHY everyteam shoots lights out against us? We NEVER adjust.

  13. cookingtheblandout

Yeah having Dante Exum light us up from the three when we played against the Maverick kinda confirmed it with me

  14. Ham should be put in one of Elons rockets and sent directly into the sun!!!

  15. ProblematicAndCrazy

Well yeah. He learned from the Bucks scheme. Hate it and it doesn’t fit our roster

  16. TheCommonKoala

Yeah, Ham is bullshitting. Anyone who’s watched the Lakers this season can see they are selling 3s consistently. I don’t even see the point of him saying this.

  17. Well, it’s a good thing the league is taking less 3’s… so this constant drop coverage makes sense. If the Lakers had a decent low post shot blocking presence, they likely wouldn’t drop coverage so much.

    😉

  18. “Operation successful”, patient died. – Ham after the loss.

It’s probably not in our scheme to leave people open. We just have terrible defenders that don’t complete rotations and whatnot.

Refreshing to see team with a game plan

Lakers offense looks worse than street ball

  21. SeeingThings123

This is the man whose job is NOT in jeopardy btw

  22. AndrewC_23

It’s definitely a defensive scheme to protect the paint first which results in our guards over helping all the time. Not necessarily when you have AD in the middle. This really needs to be adjusted as so many teams are feasting on the open 3s there given as the team doesn’t have good enough defenders that can scramble and recover quick enough

  23. DrSlaughtr

This is how they hedge in Darvin’s defense. Stop blaming individual players for it. Lebron does it. AD does it. Prince does it. Reddish does it. They all do it. Their whole defensive mentality is to force someone like Booker to pass the ball and give up a shot to a “lesser” shooter. The problem is most teams in this league have multiple three point killers that aren’t volume shooters. They wait for their opportunity and they put it through the hoop at a high rate.

We don’t have a single 3 point shooter over 40%. Not a single one. We can’t keep up offensively with anyone and the referees do not allow the defense we used in the playoffs last year to stop the other team from scoring. It’s that simple. If they make a trade, it needs to be for one or two guys that don’t require a lot of touches but can hit bombs from the outside when people collapse on AD, Lebron or AR. It’s not rocket science, people. Stop regurgitating hot takes.
