Uh I guess just for you how much did it mean to have Dame back and aggressive in the first quarter and then Giannis doing his thing as well in the first quarter I think first and foremost you know it was just total team effort I just love our

Competitive Spirit um I thought everyone that entered the game were locked in with our game plan locked in defensively and I thought we follow the game plan to a t um but yeah when you know Dame get us great confidence and you know when he’s making shots and making shots early

Um you know you it does something for us you know just kind of give us that confidence and obviously you know Giannis is like a one-two punch uh and you know that’s s you know our leadership and when they’re locked in and they’re aggressive

And it makes us uh hard to beat and but I I like everyone’s approach to the game today uh I think they were one of 16 from three in the first half obviously it’s a Mak or Miss League some of those might have gone on a different night but

What you think of your guys’ ability to defend the three-point line and and just defensively with the yeah I mean if if you’re going to be Boston you’re going to have to you know they’re going to shoot them threes regardless make or Miss is going up and you have to have

The ability to do a lot of things well one is uh you know guarding the ball and then being great with your rotations and then when kick it out to the threes man you got to move on the flight uh you got to close out with a great sense of

Urgency and I thought um I thought we did that and you know I thought we learned from the Utah game you know the the threes that we were giving up and you know you learn from every game and I know some people think it’s like cliche

But the only thing you can do is is find ways to get better you know you can’t uh Panic you can’t you know make excuses you can’t blame uh you you got to look at yourself in the mirror and we did that and we went to the drawing board

And we said okay here are some areas we need to get better um again this team has great character great spirit great leadership you know from Giannis to Dame Chris Brooke all those guys have been tremendous Bobby poris um in our meeting meetings so you know we stick together you you got

Basically you know lock out all the the noise you know when when you’re you’re down you know you got to you’re going to expect some people to um you know find ways to divide us but we stick together you know that’s what you know what’s special about this team I love the way

We responded we responded like Champions today um the focus on the defensive glass too it seemed like as you mentioned following in flight but there was an emphasis to find find the man box out limit one possession you all have done that in spurts but obviously first

Half has seemed like real key to to limit those Second Chance opport yeah you know you have to be extremely locked in uh when you play a team like Boston just a lot of different um you know uh nuances is in every possession you know it could be 12 different kind of

Coverages or different actions that you have to guard in one possession and one little slip one little mental slip can cost you so uh you have to have a great concentration great mental toughness when you play those guys cuz they’re so Elite uh they can score the

Ball in bunches they could shoot the three in bunches even in you know when they put their reserves in you know they’re capable because they’re capable of shooting at three they’re they’re never really out of a game you know they um so you you got to be locked in and I

Thought we were pretty locked in for most of the game hey coach looking ahead you got Golden State Saturday night how do you make sure that you carry the momentum momentum from tonight well it’s always preparation I I thought we had really great two days I I thought guys

You know when you when you lose you know you you always have that greater sense of urgency and we got to just maintain that we just just can’t take our foot off the gas but it’s a good start you know tonight was a good start and obviously the next couple games are

Tough you know golden state is always tough Sacramento is playing tremendous basketball so we got to continue to build on today and that just starts with our preparation you know starting with film starting on the court um you know like I said before I need to be better

Our coaches need to be better our players need to be better and I thought um we did a you know took a good step in the right direction today just kind of along those lines did this feel like an important game for you guys coming off the the skid

And top record in the East National TV game just kind of to remind not only everyone but yourselves just kind of what this team can can do yeah but you know every every game is important obviously you know we we lost four and out of five so you know we had a greater

Sense of urgency um but when you play in Boston the the top teams uh you know you got to bring it you know there’s there’s just no way around it um you know they’re Elite for a reason you know they’ve you know if you watched the game

Last night you know they play like championship teams they were out you know out of it in the fourth quarter and they they’re able to to make plays and uh big- time plays they got Big Time Players but we got Big Time Players too

So um you know I just like the way we responded I like our our competitor Spirit tonight hey coach Bobby’s kind of coming off a slower scoring stretch but he talked about any night could be his night just what you think of his response putting up 28 you know listen

Bobby is huge he’s he he’s always if if you look at the you know the games that we win uh Bobby is is he’s right up there you know with his productivity you know he’s just uh you know he’s a crowd favorite you know I love our crowd

Tonight they you know especially when they started chanting Bobby Bobby like I think it’s so cool cuz I never had anybody chant my name so I just thinking that’s the coolest thing in the world world uh when you hear the entire Arena you know so our fans you know tip your

Hat off to them they they were terrific but you know Bob’s a fan favorite but you know he plays with such passion and such grit and it’s contagious you know when he starts getting going and you know just you know it makes everybody feel good and and it just ignites us so

And and then we keep it going you know like we have a start if you go to the bench and you bringing in Bobby I thought PC was great Dre was great all you know all those guys that came in they were terrific
