Bulls fans should be ashamed – Perk on Jerry Krause getting booed during Ring of Honor ceremony

The Golden State Warriors they got a much needed win gentleman over the Chicago Bulls in Chicago but that is not what has everybody talking tonight was the inaugural Ring of Honor ceremony for the Chicago Bulls and one of the folks being honored poly of course was Jerry

Krauss and his uh his wife was there his widow was there to represent him as the when and when he was when he was introduced the crowd in the United Center booed him and thus her I don’t really know what to say about this bre yes know she was very

Upset which is part of the reason why it was upsetting and Jerry Krauss is one of the greatest Executives in NBA history no matter what you want to say that is unarguable uh and he is a rightful member of that Ring of Honor and uh and

He his name hangs in the rafters in the United Center for a reason and um this is really unfortunate thing because this was supposed to be such a special night and now this is what most people are going to remember it just feels like it it’s overshadowed sh in what should have

Been a celebration in a pretty horrible way yeah it is and it’s and it’s embarrassing but this is the world that we live in right like you have to have you have to be a heartless individual to boo at a at a ceremony like that like the bulls having won a championship

Since he was the executive and and they’re they’re there to celebrate and you have this this this this beautiful old lady that’s sitting there is really saddening to be honest with you I mean and there no excuse to be honest the Chicago the Chicago fan base should be

Ashamed you know what after that happened the Bulls had a big lead and they went Karma got them after that happened it’s called the basketball Gods the basketball Gods may have been um taking a look at that when it’s really an unfortunate [Applause] [Applause] situation

The NBA Countdown panel discuss Bulls fans booing the late Jerry Krause during the Chicago Bulls’ ring of Honor ceremony.

  1. Devils advocate: he was the guy who told Phil Jackson he wasn’t coming back and he destroyed the franchise who HASN’T recovered since then.

  2. People/fakefans that Boo’d weren’t even born yet when Krause was GM or even die heart 🐂 fans.

  3. Not everybody is going to be fake because you die, only you 🤡 act like you love someone only when they die.. Losers

  4. I think majority of those fans are not from MJ Bulls era. obviously they don't even have a clue that if it wasn't for Jerry Krause, The Bulls would probably did not have any Championships at all even with MJ. He was responsible for that to happened. He was the architect of the Chicago Bulls Dynasty. The least thing you do is to pay respect to the man who made our dream come true. As an old school Bulls fan, I didn't like him because he thought the Dynasty is coming to an end but you cannot hate the guy for that. He was probably right. The Bulls barely won their 6th Championship. They were struggling and actually almost gotten dethrone by Reggie Miller and the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Championship. So, I didn't think the Bulls would win anything the following year even with the same roster. C'mon. Stay Classy Bulls fans..

  5. Pandering is at an all time high Chicago fans stood on business if he was there that’s exactly what would’ve happened like why should they have to be fake

  6. They actually booed Kukoc too. I bet many of these fans were too young to remember the players in their dynasty teams and all they know about it was what they watched in the Jordan documentary on Netflix.

  7. Also, I hate how everyone automatically respects anyone who passes away Lol like no… stand on business… I actually credit bulls fans for being real

  8. I grew up in Chicago, through the 70's, 80's and 90's. I've seen some pretty despicable things from our fans. But this was by far the worst. Don't ever try to tell me that Chicago fans have class. They just don't. They should be ashamed for that display.

  9. I grew up with family in Chicago and saw the Bulls play at home during a championship year. Even met Steve Kerr and got his autograph as a kid. This is disgusting and shows how messed up society is today.

  10. This disrespect started with MJ. That guy accused Jerry krause of all problems.
Fun fact after Krause Jordan never won again. Even as a GM or owner Jordan never won again.
Michael Jordan should be the first to recognise Jerry krause

  11. That was low class for the fans to boo Jerry Krause with his widow being there. I’ll admit I don’t like the fact that he broke up the bulls but come on y’all, that was uncalled for.

  12. I remember being at the Chicago playoff game when LeBron hit a game winner in the playoffs… Chicago fans were brutal

  13. well jerry the way he ended things and where we been since than makes him public enemy his pride and ego alone crushed the dynasty and the bulls for decades

  14. ESPN's most-watched documentary ever trashes Jerry Krause and now they're shocked that he was boo'ed at a ceremony.

  15. Bulls fanbase has been absolutely pathetic for a while now. They dont deserve any kind of success and Im glad they have only bad luck.

  16. Love or hate Krause but he is the reason the Bulls got Horace and Pippen and got rid of that mid Charles Oakley

  17. You just don’t boo someone that died, especially the widow.
Despite what it has turned out, he still assembled a team that became iconic throughout the world.

  18. What terrible people, they act like jordan did 100% of everything. No chips without Krause ya damned idiots

  19. ESPN has nothing to blame but themselves. They constantly over exaggerate narratives and this is what happens.
