  1. McBride needed this game. I think he has somethings figured out now that he can build on as the backup pg

  2. McBride was dropping 50 when they had him in the G League as a rookie, I knew he had the offensive game in him

  3. I was at this game, first ever time in a stadium, its very lively outside seeing all them people, my hotel is also literally a two minute walk from there

  5. First off…
With the win the Knicks gave Tom Thibodeau his 500th head coaching win of his career. Good for coach Thibs.
    Secondly…
    First half…
    Good stuff:
The play of point guards McBride & Flynn, they both looked great in the first half, Flynn taking it to the paint, making layups, hitting 3’s, McBride making shots from deep, and the mid range. Impressive
Other good, seeing the minutes of OG, Achiuwa and Flynn on the court at the same time in Knicks uniforms, that was cool.
    Bad crap:
    Way too many turnovers.
Team looked like they had no energy.
And even with the grizzlies with a 9 man roster only that turned into 8 man only, with one bench guy leaving with an injury, the Knicks looked a step slow.
2nd half though was the difference maker.
    Good stuff:
Hartenstein, McBride, OG scoring well and playing defense well
Randle a double double despite the pretty bad shooting and the turnovers.
    Bad to relief stuff:
There were moments in the 4th where quarter I was like put OG back in there just to close this game out defensively, but the players out there close out the game.
Credit to McBride and Flynn, even though Flynn played just the 2nd quarter both point guards did well on a night, where Jalen Brunson rest his calf.
Both of them combining for 28 points, on 11-15 shooting in 43 minutes.
McBride 33 minutes 19 points, 7-10 overall, 4-7 from downtown
Flynn 10 minutes, 4-5 overall, 9 points, 1-2 from downtown.
And of course Hartenstein again, a monster double double.
    Let’s go Knicks, solid win.

  6. Was a must win game for us. Wasn’t pretty, but whatever. Glad Mcbride got a shit ton of minutes. He produced too.

  7. OK I understand a lot of people are embarrassed by this game because a lot of people said we almost lost to a grizzlies team Dad every starter out but we also had our top guard out in Jaylen Brunson and we were on the road and besides, it’s not like the grizzlies, even without their starters are bad team everyone has those wins the box gave up 131 to win Spurs team win and the Boston Celtics almost lost to the worst team in the Detroit Pistons bad games happen
