Sacramento at the start well the start of the real start of the West Coast Road Trip they had a western conference road trip that began with a win over Memphis Memphis is not exactly on the west coast so now we’re really getting over into the West Coast here and Raptors uh it

Could be a bit of a tough test here Sacramento Kings are a talented team Raptors are four and a half Point Underdog so let’s go out have another fun game here with the new guys RJ Barrett Emanuel quickley particular and see where this team can go today

I I absolutely do but I am personally at the point where I would be comfortable with seeing him uh go somewhere else bring in some assets bring in some picks potentially and just really re really rebuild this team like really retool this team I think at this point you know

You’ve got Barnes already playing at an All-Star level Manuel quickly has looked good really good for the Raptors but you know had a lot of promise coming in so I think for the Raptors at this present Point like we can have a real expedited rebuild here so let’s just start to fill

In some assets I mean I guess I’m saying xray rebuild it wouldn’t you want cakam a part of the team I really want to just get it the young pieces in and really try to build something different here just refresh reset and I think I think

You know we can still get some decent return at of cakam from the conversations I’m seeing online um look it there’s no good trade maybe a hold off but I’m I’m uh nervous about the offseason I think cakam would stay if we gave him a contract but you never know

Chicken breast a bit marinated it with pickle juice tons of Franks Red Hot some Chipotle hot sauce a bunch of spices then use that coating to bread bread the chicken and Crush Corn Flakes uh threw those in the oven better than the air fryer but I was using the air

Fryer for potatoes but anyways today had the chicken breast uh on chicken breast air fried chicken sandwiches those were bomb uh made a nice Chipotle mayo to go with it and then on the side uh made some Like Home Fry Styles things in the air fryer just cubed up some potatoes

Threw them in that was easy and then made some brussel sprouts I tried a new recipe today decided to cook them in a pot with with some butter and a bunch of honey I’ve never cooked with them with honey before but I put a bunch of honey

In the pot and cooked them in that they came out really nice I got to say they came out really really nice I think that’s the staple going forward for cooking brussel sprouts throw them in the in a pot in like medium heat with some butter with some honey bunch of

Seasonings a lot of salt get that cooking then at the right when it’s about to finish crank up that heat start to get a bit of a crisp on them as well oh man oh man with the honey much better than I I typically like brussels sprouts

But with the honey added a a new level to that for sure look at the score between Philly and New York oh boy I could see it like being either way let’s see 130 to go in the fourth oh [ __ ] New York up 12691 man damn Philly got blasted

Transpires wow how bad did the Raptors look on defense I understand there’s going to be some growing pains and there’s going to be some adjustment having new players involved Barrett playing 27 minutes uh Emanuel quickly playing 38 minutes here there’s going to be some growing paints here but the

Raptors had no ability whatsoever to defend the pick and roll typically when teams defend the pick and roll like they they kind of give away one thing they gave give away the roller or they give away the ball handler well the Raptors in the first half did this wacky thing

Where they did neither and they left the roller open they left Fox let him do whatever he want out of pick and rolls and a lot of times that point of attack defense and that struggling so much for the Raptors just opened up everything for Sacramento’s game like we easily

Beaten in the point of attack that brought in help Defenders when that brings in help Defenders guys start to get open for for some shots outside and our rotations were horrible we were slow it was reactive instead of proactive sometimes two guys go to the same player and then an extra pass makes

It another open three it was just horrible defense point of attack often times like the defense on the outside like we’d be with the player we just lose him you lose the guy on the outside for three so many open looks for threes for the Sacramento Kings and this is a

Team with a highly potent offense that is going to absolutely take advantage and you put yourself down 7757 and a half now second half defense got better you only only only give up 58 second half points but at that point it’s too late like the Raptors offense was was mostly fine for

This one but it’s too late also an issue first half uh the offensive rebounding they had 15 second chance points on eight offensive rebounds they only finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds after that Onslaught in the first half particularly I think it was like six in the first quarter offensive

Rebounds and you just put yourself in a hole put yourself in a complete complete hole so I don’t know what like pregame preparing for this game like do you did you watch the the set do you did you Scout this team did you watch this team Darren fox loves the

Pick and roll he loves that play they’re going to go to it a lot how are you not equipped and prepared to play defense there how are you not equipped to handle that and then leaving Shooters wide open so consistently they got a lot of three-point Shooters I get it it’s hard

Losing this one um I will say a lot of impressive performances as I said eight guys in double digit seak goes six of 11 eight 18 points very efficient 18 points siakam’s got to get the ball more really got to get the ball more nine assist though is

Boxing out and the rebounding only six rebounds here had a lot more rebounding opportunities RJ Barrett doesn’t close this one look he was was okay he was minus 19 on offense he was fine but the defense he’s got to be a bit more like he’s engaged but he’s got to do a better

Job of keeping his his check in front of him he gets beat too easily we often have to have to help a lot we have to help so often off of RJ Barrett’s defense that’s something that very much needs to improve for him Manuel quickley has an inefficient Knight he goes six to

17 4 12 from three 20 points eight assists five rebounds look pretty nice but just just little little like let’s fine-tune that a little bit here like Emanuel quickley shouldn’t be taking more shots than seak and Barnes Dennis schroer off the bench has another really good performance 18 points he goes plus 12

The end of the game uh three offensive re a big one near the end of the game he had a huge huge game very very impressed there in a game where he needed help off the bench because when Jay MCD has to get minutes you know there’s a problem

And if it’s not J MCD it’s tho and Garrett Temple also a problem so the Raptors kind of waste a good offensive night they go 54% from the field 35 % from three they they just could not get stops in the first half they were a mess

They were so disorganized it didn’t look like any process wasn’t played for this team to play defense so they uh they pay the price uh real start of the West Coast side of the road trip the Western Conference road trip started with a win over Memphis this

One feels like an opportunity in the end but the Raptors put themselves in such a hole you know yeah Kings should win from that position of course so 14 and 21 in the season upcoming stretch of games Warriors they’ve been not great lately that’s winnable Lakers have been awful since the inseason tournament
