  1. If anyone had any question who our most important player is.

  2. Yankeeknickfan

We are one of the worst teams in the NBA without Jalen Brunson, at least until we trade for brogdon or something.

Even though deuce is hitting his shots he isn’t an iniator. Anybody not blinded by homegrown bias can see that.

Not much else to this loss but that. Wrong part of the year for Brunson to get hurt before this deadline sadly. Missed chance at statpadding wins and there’s nobody on the roster to take his place. Really going to fuck us out of a good seed.

  3. Goatlikejordan

Really disappointing game from Julius. Back to back dreadful games from him now without Jalen

  4. Look, Deuce is already basically a good full-fleged NBA player. But shooting and defence aren’t the most key parts of the game for a PG. Running the offense is.

I don’t know whether I’m comfortable with the idea of this current good streak of individual games potentially dissuading the FO away from gunning for a backup PG.

I don’t think Deuce is ready to actually completely run the team in the non-Brunson minutes in the playoffs. And the 3 minutes that Brunson was on the bench for against Miami basically decided that series last year.

We are keeping teams to around a ~100 points and still fight for our fucking life in the 4th when Jalen is out.

  5. confuddly

If Quentin Grimes played all of Harts minutes today we would’ve won the game. Hart was a huge negative today

  6. howdy_goy

Think it’s clear we need another playmaker. Deuce McBride can’t be ur best option when Brunson is out.

  7. DuckDucks

I want to say “hit your free throws”, but considering the lack of any field goals for like six minutes besides the goal tended one, it’s more like “get the ball in the hoop somehow”

  8. nyc_brand

Flynn-Hart-Precious minutes absolutely cost us this game. Hart should never be playing more than Donte.

  9. I have a dream.

A dream where the Knicks make there FTs when they matter most…

  10. categoryThreesome

Here comes the doom and gloom bitch posts

We lost today, seasons over and we are garbage.

  11. OG was a great addition but wow we really miss Quickley

  12. zOmgFishes

We’re not getting anywhere unless JB can do what he did last year in the play off and some.

We miss having another ball handler in games like these.

  13. asapfetty

Hart need to play better. We are paying him a ton of money and him to give us nothing this game was the reason we lost the lead in the 4th. Literally left Randle and Duece out there to do everything

  14. theanalyz3r

Annoying loss. This team is in shambles without Brunson. But that was so winnable smh.

  15. Fast_Door

Free throws free throws free throws. Props to Deuce today but we need that second offensive presence to run the floor. Brogdon, Tyus Jones, Murray if they’re confident in him. Onto the next one.

  16. GoldenBoyRecords

I’m not that upset about the lost we make our free throws we prob win the game. I thought Randle played well for having an off shooting night didn’t force the offense he had zero turnovers which I thought was big

  17. Main-County-1177

16 points in the 4th quarter, what a pathetic effort down the stretch. Thibs needs to end his obsession with Josh Hart, he should be getting less minutes than Donte. Randle is not the same player without Brunson, terrible effort from him today. We need to trade for Rozier or Burks and a real back up center

  18. Randle gets a pass because he was hurt, however he was pretty bad before the injury, and last game too, very low effort on defense. We lost because our entire team played bad.

  19. Josh Cardio took quicks money… dubious handles takes joy from basketball

  20. DabZonTwitch

Such a weird game, really felt like a win the Knicks should’ve had a did have in the bag for most of it. Then it slipped away, mostly due to lack of offensive production without JB.

Not a great loss at all, this one really sucks considering how easily it could’ve been won. Some good takeaways though, like Deuce continuing to feast

  21. xxjohnnyrocketzxx

This was basically the pre Point Guard knicks from 2022 again

Even then, its the bench minutes that really killed us. We went from IQ, DVO and IHart killing teams there, to Precious and Flynn playing with no hands

  22. Can’t be a contender in the playoffs when you can’t hit free throws and forget how to rebound down the stretch. Should’ve been a W

  23. Shot_Construction_29

    – Horrid FT conversion (2/6 in the 4th)
    – Failure to secure important rebounds… again!
    – Randle just can’t play like this with Jalen out

  24. I prefer Brogdon over Murray. Murray won’t come off the bench and is not a good fit in the starting lineup.

  25. aesop_fables

If anyone had even a question as to how important Brunson is to this team just watch the last two games.

  26. JNerdGaming

ju got injured. jalen got injured against the mavs and then he underperformed because of it, dont forget. this teams in a vulnerable place now but once we’re healthier we will bounce back.

  27. why_squ1rtle

4 point loss with 2/6 in 4th quarter free throws?!?!? ugh

clearly deuce not ready for 4th quarter crunch time. shoulda put in grimes and called plays for OG.

That last possession with Randle and Deuce playing hot potato at the top of the 3 point line was pure comedy.

what we shoulda done was played through OG in the 4th quarter. he basically carried us in the 1st half w 14 n then the ball stopped going to him. scoring only 3 in the second half.

OG clearly has the ability to carry us through those moments. we shoulda put the ball in his hands and NOT in deuce and Randle’s hands

  28. BaysideJr

Your move Leon. We obviously need a 2nd initiator. Everyone knows it. Just sucks having to wait for that inevitable trade to happen since it probably doesn’t happen until the end of the trade deadline.

  29. MyLadySansa

Magic defense in that 4th quarter especially was really fucking good. Sometimes you gotta just tip your cap.

Also tbf we are down both JB AND Mitch, and the lack of having a backup C for IHart really hurt us today.

  30. WhatUpMowgli

this fanbase piling on julius after his few and far between bad games gets stranger and stranger every time. why people get off on shitting on this guy is beyond me. dude fucked up his leg, knew with jalen out he needed to step up and did his best against a really tough defense and a guy who can really effectively defend him. this intolerable fanbase is determined to drive away one of the best players we’ve had in recent history

  31. Crazylockdown

We already lacked playmaking before the JB injury, Magic being a good defensive team and Randle playing hurt makes it really difficult to score against them. Deuce is still learning, but at least he’s showing some promise.

One of those losses you brush off and move on. Disappointed in Hart, too many games this year where he’s a liability on offense playing with no confidence and doesn’t give you much elsewhere

  32. NoScopeMusical

    – This ain’t the same old Magic. They’re a solid team now. Should’ve won.
    – Deuce, OG, and Divo played really well. Randle was Dubious Handle late
    – Offense was lethargic, and Thibs could’ve managed the last 2 much better.
    – Give Jalen Brunson some secret stuff and get his ass back out there.

  33. NYdude777

Gonna go vote for Brunson in All-star game and not the other guy.

  34. RxngsXfSvtvrn

Losing to Jonathan Issac on MLK day is unforgivable
