Defens well we played very poorly defensively but um a lot of that had to do with our offense you know 19 turnovers that turn into 30 points and um you know their game plan was pretty simple you know um shoot as many threes as possible and um get into transition

As often as possible and then um you know for us to foul 25 times to their 12 uh that that’s the story and um they were um they just played a really clean game they took care of the ball they didn’t foul and we were reaching um you

Know Steph got um several early fouls um we were turning the ball over left and right and you know they gained belief as they went you know they all these guys are in the NBA you know and we tell them that before every game like this

These guys are in the NBA for a reason they’re really good players you know so they can all shoot and they L it up from three tonight and that was their formula they knew they had to to do that um and we knew they had to do that um so we

Didn’t play the game that could keep them from doing that the turnovers and the fouls um all those uh free points they got that was a difference in the game you spoke a little bit pregame about kind of these you were alluding to as well you have five their six best

Players out kind of look over them maybe look past them do you think that that was an issue mentally tonight um it it does it doesn’t matter whether it was or not I mean we you know we talk about that before the game that we that’s this

The first thing we say in The Scouting Report you know we’ve lost four games like this in the last two years where the other team is missing you know three four starters whatever it is um so you know you get get their um um get their

Attention by saying that and and try to get their guard up and um you know unfortunately um it um you know we I thought we played fine in the first quarter for the most part but um to me the you know midc quarter we had several

Uh moments to get a couple stops in a row get the lead to eight or 10 get control of the game and we just threw the ball away and um so we did not have the intent or the focus to win that game what you think of how Draymond did I’m

Sorry what you think about how Draymond did re uh Draymond played well he played hard you know it’s good to have him back um and um obviously um you know as a team we didn’t play well but um you know Draymond U competed and good to get him

You know kind of back in in the fold you guys only had I think 13 turnovers in the last two games yeah seemed like they made difference and I seemed like some of them were kind of just careless yeah careless um you know they put a lot of

Pressure on Steph and uh you know he had a couple turnovers in the back court and uh it just felt like again like they were they were putting pressure on us from the start and um instead of you know being solid taking care of the ball

And executing um we got careless we had a three on two um you know in in transition in the second quarter that turned into a three the other way um you know we have to uh understand um where we are as a team you know what our

Record is um where we are in the Western Conference what that means is we have to be sharp we have to play a smart clean game um we can’t turn it over we can’t reach we can’t foul we did all those things I mean had you felt like real

Stride with the turnovers lately or yeah I mean I I I believe the last 10 games were fourth in the league in um turnovers like 12 a game so yeah absolutely we made huge strides um and so um you know that was that was the biggest difference tonight and it

Started right away we had three turnovers in the first three minutes and we got scattered and um didn’t handle their uh their defense well and I called a quick timeout and unfortunately we couldn’t uh you know couldn’t get it back together you you played Draymond

Center a bunch um I mean you know I know you’re going to mix some match that’s been the story of the season but I mean as you move forward I mean are you liking that look within you know mostly seemed mostly a center draymond’s played

Tons of five the last few years so you know he’ll continue to play um plenty of five but um you know Lon lon’s good player and he’s he’s meant so much to us over the years and you know he’s our best rebounder and you know Dario is

Going to play some five obviously with his scoring Trace um you know has has had a nice rookie year and does some good things for us so the five will um continue to be manned by you know multiple people thanks I felt good um well all things considered felt really

Good uh it falls off and having Pride um just got to have pride in yourself as a man that I’m not going to let my guy score and you know our clothes outs was too soft our rotations were too slow um so it’s just no Pride like and

Until every guy take pride in themselves and want to stop the guy in front of them we’ll up um they’re all concerning but what they all say is we can’t check turnovers are what they are don’t really worry about the turnovers um we’ve been good at not turning the ball over

But we can’t guard nobody so until we guard we’ll lose um it’s everything it starts on the at the it starts with the person on the ball and everybody else behind um it’s everybody it’s not just one person uh individuals make up a team and individually our defense suck so in

Term our team defense up uh yeah um I don’t know I I haven’t really thought that deep into it to be honest with you um if if we got guys that’ll take pride in themselves and play defense uh one through 17 or however many guys we got then it is

Solvable if guys won’t take pride in defense it’s not it’s very simple um doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out um you got to take pride in your one-on-one matchup I think every guy they had down there beat their season average um and so you got to take pride it

Starts with one-on-one defense and if you take pride in one-on-one defense then the team defense will automatically get better right like you you wor about to trap the box and the helps side and all of that stuff but if you don’t take pride in one-on-one defense every

Guy a shell or trap the box or none of that stuff matters so until we take that Pride um it’ll be the same old story um it’s all individuals one through 17 it’s not just one guy uh we all suck I’m always going to be vocal I’m

Never going to stop talking um I know there’s this concerned that oh he won’t talk no more I don’t know how to not talk if I tell myself I’m not g to talk I’m still G to talk so I’m always going to talk concern communication is a part of it

But if you don’t take pride in one on one defense communication don’t matter because then guys are just downhill um and you’re reacting to everything you can communicate when it when you’re not reacting to everything but if every time you look up you’re like oh excuse me I’m not supposed

To curse I got in trouble for that I’m sorry um but you know every time you look up someone’s driving and again that’s one through 17 there’s no help for straight line drives like I don’t care how great of a Defender you are your team if you give

Up straight line drives you can’t catch up like it’s just not going to happen you’re always going to be a man down at that point so we got to take pride in ourselves you know we keep talking about oh man these teams are hitting shots guys are hitting shots that they aren’t

Supposed to hit like we’re the Golden State Warriors I’d hit shots against us too like I’d be excited to play against Hall of Fame Steph Curry Klay Thompson absolutely I’d be excited and I make every shot so we can talk about guys who don’t normally make shots making shots all we

Want credit GG Jackson I don’t know what his three-point percentage is um but he answered the Bell he had an opportunity to play against some Hall of Famers and he answered the Bell so you got to give guys credit Vince Williams just earned himself a he earned himself a contract for a reason

You know um Gillard hit three threes three for four like man I’m playing against Steph Curry absolutely I’m a shoot and be excited and make more shots than I’m supposed to make so that’s that’s gonna happen no matter what no matter who you play against because the reality is how many guys in

The league have the resumees that Steph Curry and Klay Thompson how many James Harden LeBron James you know the guys we all know the guys like there’s probably 15 of them 20 maybe maybe not that many but you get my point which means there’s 430 other guys that

Isn’t so when they play against us they’re going to be excited and they’re going to make shots that they’re not supposed to make or don’t usually make make and until you take pride in stopping them and not looking at oh man this guy is not a great shooter like

When he play us he gonna be great because of what’s at stake you wouldn’t be in the NBA if you couldn’t answer that call right like so until we figure that out and no no you gotta contest shots like you you got to get there you can’t just give guys

Free looks because he may miss 30 in a row coming into playing against us and when he play against us he going to hit 30 in a row because that’s that’s what it comes with and so until we learn that lesson team’s gonna shoot the lights out they’re gonna play their best game

Of the year and all of that stuff gonna happen because again if I got to play against Steph Curry you bet your bottom dollar I’ll be excited as hell too and I’mma shoot with I got nothing to lose I’m supposed to lose to Steph Curry so what do I have to lose

Nothing if I go 0 for 10 nobody’s gonna leave that game like GG went 0 for 10 No never they gonna leave that game talking about well what did Steph do what did Klay do what did Wiggins do that’s what they’re gonna Le the game saying so guess what you got free reign

To go out there and shoot it with no pressure and we’re playing against NBA players so it’s then our job to apply pressure and if we don’t what happen tonight will keep happening yeah I felt great um you know I I always tell you guys how much I

Trust Rick so it’s not something that I’m going to walk in there and question um I share how I felt and I think it’ll go up pretty fast but um until it does like I’ll just be the best side I could be in my minutes and try to bring a spark to this

Team it was fun uh it’s fun being back on the court um you know get the chance to play basketball that’s always fun so no it wasn’t weird uh it was like a weird run out of the tunnel to go shoot like kind of my pregame but then after that you kind of

Just you know you settle down and fall into it say was earlys how conning is that you like uh I mean time was always urgent in this league because you know you you don’t you don’t have time to just you don’t have the opportunity to just waste time let time waste away

Like because you face too many unforeseen things in this league to just let time dwindle away you know you you face injuries like we play 82 games the likelihood that someone is going to get hurt and miss some time is probably well above 50% and so the reality is you’re going to lose

Guys you’re going to miss guys and so if you don’t win games and give yourself cushion you’re always against the clock so I don’t view it as oh man we’re at the halfway point like we’re running out of time like you don’t win championships in June like it’s a process that you must

Go through and teams that you see cheat the process they never win it’s a process from September October to June so you don’t just get the waste time so I never view this as like oh man we’re at the halfway point I’m getting a little concerned now

Like no you got to be concerned all the time because again you’re going to face some things that you just can’t count account for and so if you jack off the time that you do have it may not always be there so no I’m not just now um worried that we’re running

Out of time like you got to build great habits and right now this team we have bad habits and you know it starts with me getting suspended and all the foolishness um all of those things matter so we got to build better habits and like I said to Kindra the other day

Don’t don’t start with one guy one guy isn’t going to fix anything um it is a team effort and if you can’t compete well as a team it never work In Pretty clear our numbers are not great I think since he’s been out are like bottom five in the league and uh he getting beat a lot of different ways tonight it was they had the lineup that everybody was shooting threes got about 54 of them so

You got to make a miss and then give a 40 freeos I don’t I be Mike Brown up here like going through them all to see how legit they are but in the middle of a game you have to be able to Control that in the floor to give yourself a chance ESP on the road I don’t care who you’re playing and they had guys that came out just swinging playing aggressive confident shoo shots that they uh thought they could make and obviously did and then that run beginning of the fourth was was a Difference Uh see trying to I don’t know what the summary is it was a little bit of everything you know the primary defens dve WIP me down we had a couple tough block charges that didn’t go our way offensive rebound that you swiping down um you know get and giving a free

Look at the Line think probably just off drives too you know take try to take away to three and and uh you know Lanes wide open nobody’s helping each other so you pick it they they find a way to get There was very productive for me individually I felt great was you know was needed and you like to come out and impact the game to to win a night and make it worth not drop to R guys F Harman walk F hard in Milwaukee yeah there a lot of comments

Coming in here that we could did a wi we we didn’t so your question I feel Great no I think uh with without knowing everybody’s terms I always you can mind I had it was a bad call the first possession the game setting a good screen that’s one uh do a bad pass to Clay in transition the second quarter was the second one uh me and wigs got

Fxed up on Outlet pass that uh I I could have got two but it went off my hands they gave out to me that was three and then the two at the beginning of the four fourth quarter one me dribble ball off the foot that was you know whatever and then D in

Traffic and I ran a good play when I was driving next to BP and he stole it so like it’s the timing of them um you don’t want to play ID out there you don’t want to you know play not to have turnovers but when they lead to you

Know points that are easy especially when the team has it going that’s that’s a different so it’s it’s the Type
