Wasn’t sure if combined or average made more sense for representing my point.
Average plus/minus:
Starters:
* +3.2 (Knicks) vs -8.8 (Magic)
Bench:
* -9 (Knicks) vs. +12.8 (Magic)
Looking at the stat sheet it’s clear our bench lost us this game

As already seen, our starting lineup wasn’t great, but it wasn’t awful either. Our bench unit was terrible, though.

It was evident watching it. I kept wanting our starters to pull away by 15 – 20 to give us nice cushion. Thibs legit had to put Deuce back in the game early to try and save the bench.

Who’d have thought having your all pro PG bring out would have a domino effect on the entire rotation?!?

Suppose this is what happens when you don’t have a backup center or a decent backup guard. And Josh Hart had a garbage game
