“Adebayo could see a $93M difference in his contract based on All-NBA voting. He will be able to sign a 3-year extension for $152M with the Heat if he doesn’t make All-NBA for too many games missed. If he does, he’s eligible for a 4-year, $245M supermax extension.

He’ll make 3rd team, if he stays healthy. And does this really matter. Super max or not, we’re gonna be over the tax so we can’t sign any free agents anyways. I guess it kinda screws us a bit because of the 2nd apron. I don’t think it will matter much tho.

I doubt Bam makes all nba regardless. He does not have the numbers others do.

Hopefully he signs that three year max

Bam definitely has a shot at making third team, Sabonis and Julius Randle made it last season. The issue for him
though is that Durrant and Anthony Davis didn’t make it last year due to injuries and both those guys are likely ahead of him in voting this year.

I don’t care just make him a Heat Lifer. I want to see 13 in the rafters one day (other than Marino lol)

  5. It’d be awesome and he’ll have earned it if he gets it, but supermaxes are always worse for teams.

Bam probably won’t make an all nba team, he’s a great player, but flat out, 9 forwards/bigs will get more media attention and 15 players will be looked at first.

This is gonna sound stupid and I’m not super well versed in how extensions work but can the team offer the super max even if the player doesn’t qualify for it because of no all nba due to missed games?
