Tough battle that’s facing the team as we are in the Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks the tough Challengers just keep coming for this understaffed magic team uh we are looking at a UK tip time amazing on this guys of 8:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. in the UK

Cole Anthony they have all been playing through illness and injury uh they’ve all played significant minutes and they’ve really helped the team in a time of need uh expect them to continue doing exactly the same tonight Jonathan Isaac Markel folz and Joe Engles are all available to feature again um Jonathan

Isaac he returned against OKC having missed the previous 10 games with injury um in those 15 minutes he put up six points and five rebounds if we could continue to get a little little bit more production out of him his his value to the team is is so so great um they are

Available tonight Jonathan e at marel FZ and Joe Engles all available again Wendell Carter Jr he is listed as day to-day and shown as questionable um I’ll be honest I’ll be surprised if we actually see him go both France Vagner and Gary Harris are out jet Howard

Remains on G League assignment and Kon Harris as always is listed as a coach’s decision not to play as he recovers from a knee injury that kept him out the back end of last season should any of the day-to-day injuries become available well really only talking about Wendell there then um

Coach Mosley will have a decision to make other than that we do have a little bit more um availability of Manpower tonight but uh I’d be surprised if we see any huge changes to the starting group in all honesty as to the New York Knicks uh regular season so far 2 3 and

16 they won their last game and are at six and four in the last 10 played they are standing seventh in the East and tied five through seven with the Miami Heat who won last night and the Indiana Pacers who lost um points per game the Knicks are scoring

115.6 and conceding a very similar number to ourselves 111.6 in fact that is exactly the same number as ourselves offense offensively they are rated ninth defensively rated 13th at home the Knicks have been strong holding a 11 and four record the Knicks are among the league leaders in

Offensive rebounds it sees them leading Second Chance uh points though not a leader in steals or seeing opponent turnovers the Knicks are effective at turning opportunities from uh opponents into points defensively the Knicks keep fouls low and restrict free throw opportunities they are also very effective at the defense of the paint

Opponent Second Chance points are also lower um through their rebounding ability as we saw when we played them only a few weeks ago more of that in a moment or two uh the team are led by their two All Stars Jaylen Bronson Julius Randall Brunson averaging 25.8 points per game shooting 40% 47%

And is making 6.4 assists per game those figures I think are slightly down from when we met them uh over the Christmas period uh Julius Randall he’s putting up 24.4 points per game 47% shooting also and he is putting in 4.8 assists and 9.2 rebounds since we last encountered them

The Knicks their starting unit has changed uh as as one one or two people have joked we beat them B badly last time around that they were forced into a trade the Knicks AC quied o anobi from uh Toronto and in the seven games since he arrived he has averaged 14.1 points

Per game and has been a consistent starter been there for seven games and started all seven last time out for the Knicks uh they took a road win over the Memphis Grizzlies uh 106 to 94 the Grizzlies were short-handed in that game the Knicks had Trail by four going into

The half but a third quarter where they outscored uh the Grizzlies by 15 was 30 to 15 in that third quarter that saw the Knicks take hold of the game all five starters for the Knicks scored in double digits uh led by a 24.1 rebound double double from Julius Randall miles McBride

He hit 19 points and O anobi he made 18 and then also added four blocks to that number their starting unit for that game was Dante dienzo miles McBride o anobi Julius Randall and Isaiah harste hartenstein harstone W I’ll get it right eventually don’t worry guys uh From the

Bench Josh Hart queny Grimes Maliki Flynn and precious aawa you’ll notice there was no Jaylen Bronson and no Mitchell Robinson uh along with Jericho Sims being missing um I’ll as to tonight the Knicks have those two significant injuries again Mitchel Robinson he is out for the season however interesting

The NBA have denied uh the Knicks a dis aable player exception as there is some belief that he could return late in the season interesting if we do end up meeting them in the playoffs uh the other player who is listed as dayto day and with a calf injury is Jaylen Bronson

As say he did miss the Memphis game I expect tho coach Theo to run a game with that same starting five if Bronson’s not available to go um Bronson if he is cleared he’s straight back into that starting unit but the Knicks really don’t use over many players they are a

Team that focus on the starting five and bring in three or four guys from the bench head-to-head with the Knicks 127 regular season games played and the score stands at 12522 to Orlando uh single meeting so far this season as say on third uh game day 31 in December

Orlando took a a really gritty attitude to the court to take 108 117 homecourt win Jaylen Bronson was met with constant pressure from Anthony black and Jaylen sugs France Vagner he led us on the night with 32 points nine rebounds two assists one block and four steals we

Really really need him back Paulo banero he scored 29 in that game along with taking 10 rebounds for a double double Paulo also had four assists and a block and a steal jayen sugs in that game had 21 points six assists for the Nicks Julius Randall scored a 38 Point 12

Rebound double double and Jaylen Bronson had eight assists with 20 points last season the Knicks won the series one two and Orlando won the final game of that Series so we are actually on a two game winning streak now against the Knicks each each regular season Sor it has seen teams take

Regular wins from the other over previous Seasons both home and on the road in the last seven played Orlando has four wins a final thought for tonight it’s going to be a hard for physical battle that is absolutely certain both teams typically play a similar style of basketball though

Recently we have seen Orlando’s style of basketball slightly changeed with with the uh availability of personnel that we’ve had has been somewhat enforced for Orlando to win this and it is a much needed win to keep themselves in the hunt for the automatic playoff seeding uh results have seen that the magic drop
