Clippers Take Down Thunder | LA Clippers

And we got a brand new game and it’s been the defense of transition of oh how about West here with that follow up Paul George has taken the game over and here he is at the other [Applause] end it looks like the Clippers were starting to melt a little bit George

There just a heads up play defensively and then a beautiful finish on that reverse but the way this group responded particular tremendous loss for them he really gives James Harden a terrific pick and roll teammate but Plumley will give them some athleticism and rebounding at that Center position as

Well Leonard drops a beautiful dime man on the Finish he’s really improved from an offensive standpoint as well and a lot of that in talking with tou before the game he said you know a lot of that’s predicated on that guy right there James Harden you know you think

About the pick and roll and how Adept he is at running it for an opposing Defender as Williams picks up his first yeah the ability Williams all rookie first team last year finished second in the Rookie of the Year voting rumbley just an Exquisite pass by lard the first year where they’ve had

Some consistency in terms of not having a ton of injuries Harden’s going to fire again by the way the delay just a second ago they changed the heart two to a three terrific job of guarding two there plumly late to get back after going to the ground going for the offensive

Rebound plumbley on a stick back and he’s fouled and a chance at three and you’re going to get a lot of opportunities to attack that offensive glass when you got the likes of George Harden and Leonard on the floor they draw so much attention that 41.5% he’s actually top 25 in the league

Now where to go along with all the defense that he brings to the table George has the hurry and he hits and this is an example people say oh they don’t play defense today the level of shot identical shooting numbers Clippers by the way season high for made

Threes in any half this year as Paul George gets right back to work eight straight points for the Clippers going back to the second quarter trying to keep her eye on Leonard looks like he’s okay home boy a series fakes and the man sends his shot into the bench fake there

Allowed him to get into it and just goes up and a George on the box guarded by SGA what a match up between those two skips it to man wide open three perfect he said it was a really good experience for us it was a tough game to play their

Offense wasn’t at its best so far they’ve been much better here tonight against the Clippers oh kaai Leonard coming with some smoke but you sense the urgency level within this franchise it’s the fifth season here for Kawai and PG-13 everything they invested in those two Greg to bring them here haven’t had the

Postseason success certainly that they were hoping for yet pa George high off glass that was a great job you talked about plumy at the top his ability to pass from that high post position such a such a valuable asset beautiful delivery there and again we talked about it no

Real Rim protection with this second Unit Hardon against Williams puts it on the [Applause] deck of secondary players will step into that consistent number two spot behind guilis Alexander will it be Williams will it be hren what a shot by George loose balls create opportunities there and that’s what’s happening Boy George surrounded by three Defenders he sticks It

Anyway knock down that triple then how about the body control here by Paul George able shis Alexander now six of 16 from the field and not known as a Defender J C did a great job oh BS in a three 90 seconds left Hardon to man nice

Fake the kick George contested three my goodness and he’s letting him hear about it Paul George has taken the game over and here he is at the other [Applause] end

  1. Beautiful win and great overall % scoring, PG13 and kudos to starter Plumlee and Theis for protecting the rim💯
    Let's Go Clippers 🖐 💪 🔥

  2. Man, great game!
    The Thunder are really good!
That had me on the edge of my seat!
PG turned into a monster down the stretch!
They were hitting so many huge 3pt shots!
The Clippers couldn't shake them or break them then all of a sudden PG said…."ummm nope"….😊
If The Clippers get that from Kawhi, PG, and Harden in the postseason, where one of them just takes over close postseason games and brings home the win…..they will likely win an nba title this season!
    The Clippers look scary good!

  3. imagine PG that would have stayed healthy his entire career…. injuries will stop him from being in the goat conversation, probly, and i know most wont agree with that take, but thats how i feel.

  4. Watching him close out the thunder was such a fun watch 😊 thank you pg13 and crew. By the time we have another game we should be at least 3rd. 2nd if all things fall into place.

  5. It was a good win, Clippers. But some bad news not having Zubac for at least a month. Maybe we truly are cursed? Skip Bayless who admitted he’s not a Lakers fan and wore a Kawhi Clippers jersey nearly 5 years ago is saying the Sixers will now go further without Harden. Are you listening, Clippers? Be triggered.

Going to be rough without Zu. He was turning into Clint Capela thanks to James and Russ. Thank goodness we got Plumlee back before Zubac went down. I’m not sure we’ll beat the Lakers next week and next month. What Lakers are doing is similar to last year. They’re targeting their First Round opponent. And it looks like the Thunder are becoming this year’s Memphis Grizzlies.

Again, it’s very hard to trust young teams like Memphis and Sacramento last year who finished 2nd and 3rd only to get eliminated in the First Round by the Lakers and Warriors. So it’s hard to get a good read on Minnesota, OKC, and New Orleans. Minnesota is highly capable of collapsing late in games similar to Sacramento did last night to Phoenix. Memphis had great D too only to lose to the Lakers easily last year. Then the injury excuses late when the series looked lost.

I can tell Lakers wants OKC this year. I’m not buying OKC all that much either. The real top 4 regardless what the record says are: Nuggets, Clippers, Lakers, and Suns. The Suns are finally launching as they’ve won 8 of their last 11. Still not as hot as Clippers going 23-7 since Dec 1, but Suns are finally getting into their groove. All Lakers are really doing is targeting the easiest path to the Finals. OKC should be a piece of cake to them if they meet in the First Round.

Prior to finding out about Zubac being out for at least a month and this is the first time Zu had a major injury in his career, I thought about taking out my Clippers in my conference parlays. We’re cursed, people! And when I bet on them, I’ll jinx them some more. So Zu being out is another sign that Clippers will fail again in these playoffs. Nothing good will ever happen to my Clippers. And I have a bad feeling my Niners will get upset by the Packers this weekend and Jordan Love will outduel Brock Purdy.

    Unlucky franchises –
    Browns
    Cowboys
    Niners
    Knicks
    Sixers
    Clippers
    Suns

Suns and Clippers are the two oldest NBA franchises to never win a championship. Clippers have never made the Finals. Browns haven’t won a chip in 60 years. Knicks haven’t won a chip in over 50 years. Sixers in over 40 years. Niners and Cowboys in nearly 30 years. Hence, why I didn’t include any of these teams in my NFL/NBA conference winners parlays.

Man, imagine if Lil Wayne’s teams wins it all? Packers and Lakers? That parlay is going to hit big. Lakers seems to be the only franchise pressured to win it all every year. Yankees won 27 pennants and nobody pressures them if they haven’t won a World Series in 15 years. Packers have won 14 championships dating back to the 1920s and nobody gets mad if Packers only won two Super Bowls in 28 years.

But if Lakers look mediocre because LeBron is on the team, ESPN and FS1 will keep talking about them because their Chosen One is their clickbait. Will have a guide in fixing them with a laundry list of players to trade for. Malika Andrew has to keep asking the same damn questions. It’s all for profit and to kill air time. Gotta talk Lakers because LeBron is on the team.

  6. This is the year guys, coming from a pistons fan and a pg/kawhi guy since the beginning!
