Chris as your team gets this win on the road tonight how did you assess their um movement from the first half and making adjustments into the second half well I mean we got a little more serious in the second half I didn’t like our real I didn’t really like our seriousness in

The first half I thought um you know game plan was um not very on point um you know I thought we were too bothered by officiating and and stuff like this um instead of just playing and you know then we were able to like build the lead right before half and then um

You gave us a bit of a cushion but uh I didn’t really you know wasn’t a huge fan of our performance tonight but we did enough to get a win and um the end of the day that’s what matters but it’s uh it’s really not not the standard we would hope

For and so it’s really you’re looking for that approach yeah I mean I just thought you know some I mean the first quarter was what was it 40 to 39 I mean it’s ridiculous I mean we just trade in baskets and when that happens everyone thinks it’s always going to be too easy

And um you know we’re a defensive LED team and um you know that was not acceptable really um wasn’t like they were shooting the lights out I mean they were running it they were executing their offense at a high level but we were doing nothing to impact that so do

That on like the approach the buildup to tonight I don’t I mean buildup I don’t think so I mean buildup was you know fine we traveled well had a good shoot around we talked about the the mindset that we needed to be to come in here um

And you know you’re not going to be you’re not going to have your aame every single night um but having said that you know we have to be way better than we were tonight I thought we were worried about all the wrong things for most of

The game so the second half what was a little different what was a little different well we managed to string some stops together you know that was for one um you know and then we really kind of built the Le lead um you know when we

Had that um that lineup in there nille Rudy NS Kyle and um and and and Mike you know really shared the ball and um got good shots every single time down and um you know they they also were getting stops too so espe created a couple turnovers got a couple buckets yeah he

Was huge those yeah he was awesome nil was really good I thought um in many ways kind of turned the game for us with his defense and some you know timely tough shots he made um you real real real important for him tonight Jaden had the season High offensively you often said

You know he’s the barometer you feel like that was kind of the case for you guys at least offensively tonight that his his production and your ball movement kind of were in sync yeah I think so I mean um you know he got it in all different ways you know uh which was

Good to see uh um probably hit the biggest shot of the night when they tighten the game back up to three gets the bounce in three uh from the right corner um so yeah he’s you know feeling like his offense is getting a little bit more consistent every night um so we got

A lot of guys who can score it you know we got a lot of guys that can really help offensively we just have to let them is this a good reminder cuz you have a decent number of games coming up against teams that are near the bottom

Of the of the stands this is a good reminder that yeah I would hope so you know I would hope so I think again it’s it’s a big point of emphasis at this point of the Season not to lose focus whether it be the dog days of the season um whether

You know your opponent you’ve played them multiple times whether they have a good or a bad record um or you know they have guys in or guys out of the lineup you know it’s it’s about playing to the standard that you lay down and we’ve done that most of the Season tonight I

Think we fell a little short should wor about fishing and got another technical tonight um he’s up to seven or eight on the season is that is that a worry for you at all or I think you talk to him about it’s uh it’s a little bit of a

Concern um you know he did a good job of keeping him in check really from the middle of last season onward but it’s up um you know he’s got to get under control it’s really not acceptable to to be getting a technical right now um at

The rate that he is um you know he’s a he’s a dynamic player he’s explosive there’s going to be contact at times he’s going to sometimes he’s going to get fouled sometimes not going to get called um you know he’s got to got to

Put that to his side and he’s got to get back and he’s got to quit arguing with the refs and um you know and you know it’s just going to happen I he’s going to you know they’re not going to catch them all [Applause] so
