[Slater]The Nets are shying away from Atlanta’s asking price of two first-round picks for Dejounte Murray thus far, per @MikeAScotto. The Hawks don’t want to take back salary beyond this season, which has been a sticking point with the Lakers. Brooklyn has Spencer Dinwiddie’s expiring.

Dinwiddie’s expiring and a first and maybe 2nds let’s goooo

  2. Starting to think more and more that Marks ISNT that good of a GM.

Our price will go up a bit and Atlanta’s price will go down leading up to the deadline. Dinwiddie plus ‘25 PHX first rounder and either multiple seconds or another heavily protected first could be a solid middle ground.

    Let’s get it done!!

Excited for 2027 to find out who we get in the 20s with that Sixers pick and if the world is still spinning in 2029 the endless possibilities of what the Mavs pick can be!

We’ll also need to wait 2 years of G-League development to see those rookies play. 2031 is going to be a great year for the Nets.

  5. Kinda sad to see us shipping Dinwiddie out yet again. Not his biggest fan, but still, he seems to enjoy playing on the squad.

  6. We need to do this trade, the team cannot function as it, it needs a reliable point guard. Ben Simmons is down he barely ever plays.

How about we got trade DFS for a first then use either Sixers or Mavs pick. There you go, two firsts that don’t effect our Suns picks.

I get that Marks doesn’t want to overpay but we shouldn’t pass this up, the team needs some sort of mix-up. Dinwiddie and the Philly Pick are easy assets to throw in.

It may not be the best basketball decision…but selfishly as a fan…I can’t take anymore of this iteration of the team. Go and get us some fun/marquee players and let’s get back to battling upper-tier teams

    Marks playing hardball.

Brooklyn has plenty of expirings to wet Atlanta’s appetite.

The PHX 2025 will be somewhat valuable.

I’d be interested in knowing if Atlanta will get anywhere close to that deal.

I’d be willing to give them cam thomas and a first, since cam is just rotting away here. I’d consider giving them a swap as well but not 2 first.

Trade Royce for a 1st throw it on the deal. I don’t want to lose that many of our picks from Suns and Mavs

Honestly I don’t even want Murray anymore if we aren’t firing Vaughn if we are keeping him then just sell everybody please.

Bridges still gotta be worth at least two first round picks.

DFS a first rounder, and Spencer expiring contract should definitely net a first if not a solid young potential player to go with Thomas in the future.
