Trae Young FINALLY SPOKE OUT About Victor Wembanyama!

Trae Young FINALLY SPOKE OUT About Victor Wembanyama!

All right let’s stir the pot all right it’s time to stir the pot a little bit it’s it’s actually not me stiring the pot Trey young is definitely staring the pot oh my God he is adding so much fuel to this fire it’s ridiculous I want some

N are we having fun yet all right so it seems like every single day we have a new thing to talk about when it pertains to Trey young right I mean we just went over the fact that his dad recently posted something well he commented on uh

Wiim Bama’s numbers from last game and he said he’s a unicorn uh we had him liking my post Trey Young’s dad that is liking my post talking about how Greg pic is a great coach we already know that Trey young is a Spurs fan or he

Grew up a Spurs fan so is his dad it’s a lot of stuff all right it’s a lot of connections here we talked about Tim Martin the fact that they both had the same trainer there there’s a there’s a ton okay um so big shout out to Spurs

Culture uh for posting this oh sorry uh this is actually where I first saw it and I was like oh Trey young had something to say about the San Antonio Spurs okay um but then who actually sent this to me through message was uh your

Mesi uh so big shout out to your Mesi for sending this out to me uh thank you my boy so let’s go and just dive into this let’s watch what’s going on here uh someone else told me to start around 650 so that’s where we’re going to start and

Yeah let’s speed it up so we don’t get copyright claim please forgive me I’m actually going to go 1.5 okay um you guys can keep up hold on we’ll we’ll do close cap as well all right all right what what what do you got what do you

Got to say Trey what do you got to say play against the Spurs last night Victor wiama ton of hype around him what was it like I know this your second time playing him this year but just to be able to share the court with him get to

Get to see some of his game and and what that’s been about how would you say as as a peer you’re most excited for him to continue to grow his game and and what’s it like sharing the floor with him I mean he’s going to be a beast in this

League uh I mean as long as he can play he his presence on the floor alone is is impactful and I mean just on defense offense he can create for other people he just disrupts people on on defense so he can do pretty much everything it’s everything that everybody’s been saying

About him and uh you can tell he’s humble he he he competes he wants to work hard so those lot compliments oh my goodness oh my God that that is a lot of compliments Trey woo uh he has all the intangible to be I mean the best player

Ever um it’s just I mean the accolades and team he just needs the point guard right oh sorry as his career goes on is what’s going to determine that so he definitely tools you guys are both trained with Tim Martin uh a trainer who unfortunately I’m not cold enough to

Train with um Tim you know if you’re watching this man definitely hit me up for some training sessions I still need it to dominate my men’s league okay I feel a little I feel really valid I thought that I was reaching for straws when it came to the

Tim Martin thing me personally I mean I knew it was a connection there but I’ve been very open and saying that I think it’s pretty vague I I actually wasn’t expecting this to come up um I feel very validated but um have you ever trained with W before I actually don’t know this

No you haven’t I have there been any instances where Tim is like dude like before he got drafted I’ll say like I know you and Tim are super close that Tim was like because obviously Victor works out with him like oh man like be on the lookout cuz this dude is he’s for

Real yeah no I I’ve been working with Tim since I was in high school um I mean we work out twice a year I go down to Dallas I go down on Christmas uh trained with him some other guys I’ve trained with him in the summertime I go down

There and uh just spend a weekend or two in Dallas and uh just train with him spend some time with him um and he would always tell me how he was going back and forth to France to work with this young kid who was going to be the next Prodigy

This next up and coming thing and U he was always telling me about him and as Victor was obious getting older the the world started knowing more and more about him and um I just had I mean I had heard about him I didn’t know what he

Was going to be and seeing him now I can tell the reason I mean I know Tim is probably not the only person I bet Tim will tell you himself that he’s not the only Trey young I might be looking too into this okay but Trey young really

Lights up talking about Wim banama um so let me get this out the way really quick too cuz I saw it’s it was not a lot of people okay it’s very few so I won’t harp on this but I’m going to tell you this right now um if anyone truly does

Believe that it would be an overpay for Trey young let’s say all of their picks back plus another pick that is not an overpay for Trey young whatsoever if you gave him if you gave them four first round picks that is not an overpay especially with the amount of picks that

We have for the future if the Trey young if Trey young were to come to San Antonio I’m going to tell you this right off the bat though I feel like another team would have to be involved I don’t know if we would have enough to send to

Them where they would feel comfortable with that unless they really are just adamant on just blowing it up um I would assume that they will want their picks back and possibly get another Young Star you know caliber player I have no idea I already know well I’m

Pretty I’m pretty sure of this that the Spurs wouldn’t send out uh soan or fael I feel like those two would be pretty safe um and and then everyone else it’s it’s it’s it’s yeah they would just send anyone else but I don’t know if that

Would be enough for the Hawks but if anyone says I just want to say that if anyone says that that would be an overpay I think that’s insane and you definitely need to watch more Trey young especially this season he has been ridiculous not even in his prime yet but

It it’s kind of crazy how how good he’s been person that put Victor in these situations or Gave Victor all these tools but he’s definitely one of these guys so just seeing Victor play for the first time just as a high school kid and then now or I mean being overseas and

Then now coming over here you can tell that some of the things that Tim puts in his workouts and his training sessions that Victor has in his game and I mean Tim is a guard so just having guard likee skills and mindset when you’re 74

75 like it’s hard to stop so um but no Tim Tim told me about him um a long time ago before uh I mean a lot of people over here really knew about him because he was going over there training them I know Tim some of his workouts are

Notorious for having these crazy intensive drills there was a there was a clip obviously we we were still going to school at the time I didn’t even know you did this but it surface probably like six months ago where he would take the Rock and he would is there any more

Wimy stuff hold on let’s see they might just be talking about Tim Martin wait what is that that okay that looks like us hold on I’m going go back a little bit let’s see let skip a minute I think you commented on I think it was a bleach

Report post but there was a clip where Victor actually like jumped up in the air like one of his teammates beat somebody off the dribble and like had a lot of opportunity for him I think you comment is like man this is the easy he got asked the question he got

Asked the question let’s watch his body language with this hold on cuz he could feel by the way by the way here’s the thing um these players especially uh NBA players NFL players professional players they get these questions beforehand so there’s nothing that’s asked of Trey

Young that he didn’t see coming uh so that tells me and I this might be me speculating but it is me speculating but that tells me that he got those questions and he still wanted to do this interview knowingly knowing that it was going to be a lot of questions regarding

Vikor W banama I feel like he’s stirring the pot I feel like he wants to come to San Antonio that’s just my vibe it’s been so many rumors to the point where I I just can’t ignored right I mean we got his Camp coming out before this was a

While ago coming out saying that he will be open to working with Victor wanyama we have him commenting on that Bleacher Report we have his dad uh calling Victor a unicorn liking you know my post when it comes to Greg papovich we have at the end of this last game going against the

Atlanta Hawks uh Trey young stopped Victor wama talked for a short period of time I didn’t look into it as much as other people but that is something that you can at least throw into that pot and now we have him literally going on to from the point by Bleacher Report um

Knowing what the questions will be and still saying yeah I’m going to be here to answer it I’m sorry you can say that it’s looking too into it it’s crazy it’s it’s it’s ridiculous to think this I truly do believe he wants to come to San

Antonio and him being a Spurs fan in the past I’m sorry I I I see it that’s what I see where Victor actually like jumped up in the air like one of his teammates be somebody off the dribble and like had a lob opportunity for him I think you

Commented like man this is a easy lob um but talk about what it would be like to play with somebody it could be him or it could be somebody else in the leag CU you played with a couple guys before where they have incredible athleticism and all that just reading lobs just in

General I think it would I think it would be great for you to talk about what that’s like to read a lob actually CU people don’t understand like how difficult that is to throw lob in general he makes Trey young makes like average I mean let’s just be real

Average Rim running centers look like stars at times I mean he really does sufficient in the league so like how would you read plays where you would have to throw a lobin um I think what I mean the part about throwing a lob is is really just having confidence in your

Big too and knowing that um he’s going to go jump and get it like I feel like I I give my big so much confidence as far as like if they set a screen they get behind behind their man cuz I’m I feel like if I get into the paint his man’s

Going to worry about me so if they don’t worry about me I’m going to be shooting floaters to death and uh just getting good shots in the paint and So eventually they’re always going to get good looks because a team is not just going to let um let me do that all game

So they’re eventually going to step up and so I really just tell our bigs just keep rolling keep rolling keep setting screens and every big I really played with from Dwayne deadmond Alex Lynn I mean John CC like I mean big old like they’ve all they all know how to set

Screens and they all bring different attributes to the game so it’s it’s just about knowing my big strengths and uh thankfully I’ve been playing with bigs who can who can who can jump a little bit and go catch my lives and so it’s more about just feeding them and just

Knowing when when and how to give it to him for sure absolutely he wants to feed wimy that confidence um pivot here but uh we’re about a month away from Allstar can’t believe the season okay so that’s a pivot um anything else regarding I don’t think that has to be it right but

Like I said I I know for a fact that these players they get all this stuff beforehand um they’re not going to go on any type of podcast and be uh surprised they make sure like their manager knows whatever PR team blah blah blah they all

Know uh what’s going to be asked and he knew the questions that were coming up and he still was open uh to answer them and this is a pretty big segment of nothing but wimy questions uh so yeah I I look he’s stirring the pot I I don’t

Know what to tell you you guys can say that I’m just really just looking too far into things which not a lot of people have said that um but if that is what you’re thinking he literally doing it okay we can’t ignore it now we he’s

Literally doing it okay this is in your face as much as it was in your face when DJ went on to the podcast with Stephen Jackson and said everything about or what he had to say about the Spurs okay this is now finally directly in our face

He knew what the questions were going to be and he still uh decided to come on and and talk about when be for several minutes all right anyways I will give it you guys later this is good news this is great stuff but until next time man Bye

  1. Dang, we’re about to go from having three 1st round picks back to only having one. Bad luck.

  2. TSR had a good point about Traes contract. Hes owed between 40-50 mil next 3 years. Resign due same time as Wemby

  3. Given that we still in the development/experiment stage I don’t see this being a possibility until probably minimum 2 years from now.

  4. The way Trae talks about WEMBY with such deference & respect. Plus the fact that him & his Pops are long time Spurs fans makes me really feel like this could be a special move with a special kind of player. 👀😲🙏🏽

  5. When asked about a potential trade, head coach Gregg Popovich pushed back on the idea.
“No, I doubt it,” Popovich said regarding the idea of San Antonio making a trade,
“Why would we do that? … Get a vet or two and go win a championship this year? I’m going to go think about that,” Popovich said.

  6. I could be wrong but I think if we can get Trae we should go for it. I think he would be perfect for Wemby. I agree we shoild hold on to Sochan and Vassell they are off the table.

  7. I dont see Trae Young coming to Spurs men, stop hurting yourself 🙂 its not SPur way briging so muhc attention, killing the process actually going one with the team acclimate to Wemby and starting to find the way to play together.

  8. I pray to god we get dejounte instead of trae young. He won’t cost as much and can continue to mature. I have been a spurs fan my whole life and have my research on both and listened to both points and am 100% sure dejounte is the right choice. Trae sounds fun for a second but in reality he’s not a team player and there are too many stronger point guards in the league. dejountes defense is what I love and why I know we will pick him up

  9. Lol bro you gotta stop with the Sochan stuff… the only two players safe are Wemby and DV. Love you clan but you really allow your biases for Sochan to show when discussing pretty much anything dealing with the Spurs but especially when it comes to the trade talks.

Even Jeff Garcia via Locked on Spurs who is in the locker room with the team day in and day out interviewing and talking with players and coaching staff feels that the only two protected players are Wemby and DV.

& I get it you like him but believe me if they ask for anyone outside of those two mentioned for Trae Young they are gone and that INCLUDES Sochan.

  10. Man Trae and Victor 😂. That would be special. Trae spaces the court, logically this would allow victor to do him…would literally be unstoppable if they have to constantly worry about trae chunking flames constantly. I been worried about the league future, post-lebron era…there hasnt been this much talent in the league since the early 2000's.

  11. If we could get T.Young for all the ATL picks I’m down! Then with our lottery we can draft the best small forward or the kids Center from 🇫🇷. Have two Eiffel towers.

  12. I’d give them their picks back n three players mcbucket , Tre jones , Collins , they need to be real bc it’s sorta obviously they fluffed the fk outta his stock bc of the rumors..

  13. It's chess not checkers. I don't see it happening, if at all, until the summer. Or even the next summer, with a few wrinkles. Then, the following variations would have to occur:

    1) DJ has to be traded, not to the Spurs but to say, the Lakers or Nets. They have to get good compensation for him too.
    2) The rest of Atlanta's season has to go into the toilet, something in the form of first round exit or even worse — not making the playoffs.
    3) The BIG IF: Trae then has to ask out. If he doesn't, then there's really no discussion here because Trae is the box office there, he's reason people by tickets to go to ATL games.
    4) The Spurs, seeing where they are with the draft, then, where Toronto's pick is at, where their pick lands. Then, if they're so inclined, can push their chips in, starting with that Toronto pick (if they have it), salary filler (Doug McDermott, Graham, Cedi or whoever they have acquired back in trades from those guys at this year's deadline), a KEY PIECE (Keldon most likely), then maybe a young player on the roster, maybe even Tre Jones or Malakhi (Sochan won't be moved), and then the 2-3 firsts. That could get it done and SA could then fill out the rest of the roster via FA or small trades.

That's a lot of moving pieces, so the likelihood of this never happening is probably 75% or higher, certainly within this time line. But if it did, you'd have your core there of Wemby, Trae, Devin, Sochan, lottery pick, maybe Wesley, Cissoko, Collins, and whoever else they bring in. Not sure how much that team moves the needle, however, health aside, that's going to be a LOT better than this year's team. Now you're talking play-in. Again, though, BIG IFs all along the way.

For Trae though, a move to SA makes a lot of sense (although never count out Miami and the Lakers in the post-Lebron era). Trae's fallen behind in the conversation. He's not really a part of the conversation anymore, unfortunately. He's watching teams like the Kings and Pacers and the 76ers and even the Knicks have their PGs, rising up the rankings, establishing themselves as contenders.

And then you have the Spurs who are historically bad, yet because Wemby's ascendent are on Nat TV all the time, bringing all kinds of wattage, attention, getting everyone's best game because the future of the league is South Texas. Trae knows he can be a part of that show, helping this team get to the biggest stages, get back into the spotlight in a big way. It's not just good from a competitive sense, it's good business for him, his brand.

  14. Clan love your content man I'm a new subscriber. Your Sochan takes though yikes, he's not showing much this season other than pissing people off. I give him another year to improve or he needs to be traded while his value is still there.
