  1. TLDR:

You can continue watching the games on Bally Sports Sun or Florida through a cable or satellite subscription. Beginning with the Marlins this summer (and Heat and Panthers eventually) You can stream the games on Amazon.

Amazon’s deal would not allow fans to watch any out of market games but it might permit fans to watch their home team’s games if they’re out of town.

EDIT: Also [an article](https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/39333324/diamond-amazon-streaming-mlb-nba-nhl) from ESPN as well.

Great. Now can inter Miami go join them please. I want to watch their games, but I’m not getting Apple TV.

After Amazon sent out that email that prime video was gonna have ads (paying extra for no ads) I was ready to cancel the subscription but now…..fuck….

  4. As long as it is just streaming the Bally sports broadcast I love this. I would hate for Amazon to replace Bally entirely for the broadcast as having your own announcers who know your team and are homers is way better than a rotating crew.

    From ESPN:

It’s important to note, though, that location would still matter. Diamond teams on Amazon Prime will be available only to in-market fans. Out-of-market fans would still be able to watch through the leagues’ streaming services, be it MLB.tv, NBA League Pass or, for the NHL, ESPN+. But because those original cable deals would still be in place, blackouts would probably still be an issue.

How much extra is this going to cost me?

A news release from Diamond Sports Group stated that “additional details regarding pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.”

Will the broadcasts still be called Bally Sports?

As part of this agreement, Diamond broadcasts will continue to operate under the Bally Sports name this year, after which a new partner will be sought.
