Jontay should have held out for more. His bro is on a max and he’s being bought so cheaply smh

Good luck with that when you get traded to Atlanta

  3. AbbreviationsHot4482

The good news is he won’t have to buy No. 11 from Brook in a few weeks

  4. alexdoggg

Smart. He’ll probably retire a Raptors so this is a long term investment.

These guys just don’t give a fk about money lol

10k? That’s huge money for someone on a 2 way contract. Surely that might have been Browns thought here.

Johntay can pay half a years mortgage with that easily.

  7. Bro got 20 mil and has no idea what to do with it

  8. AppleDry1

Melo trying this with Jokic as we speak to get #15 back lol

  9. Railshock

How much will he offer Brunson for #11 if he gets traded to the Knicks?

any man willing to pay 10k for a jersey is willing to buy it for 15k

Jontay getting good money for being a 10 day and definitely getting a contract after this. Everything’s coming up his way right now

First time I’ve seen a player buy a jersey number

So we’re now 1 Bruce Brown trade away from jersey numbers being included in trade requests?

Won’t he also have to buy out the existing stock of Jontay Porter jerseys from the Nike store?

    Really cool gesture.

He probably could have asked for it and Porter prob would have given it to him since Porter is from the G-league.

10K probably meant a lot to him.

    Good job champ.

I think it’s at least a partly cool gesture by Brown. He’s using the number as an excuse to trade an amount that’s more relatively nominal to him to the younger brother of a friend/former teammate, who doesn’t have to give up much, while Brown also gets something he’d prefer to have in return. And he might not even stick around. It’s like buying a few units from a friend who just started their own business.

Remember when everybody thought Blake Griffin was the father of Lana Rhoades’ baby but it was this guy all along? Lol

I wonder what Jontay Porter’s return policy is?
