I saw the post about Jones/Shamet to the Knicks for Fournier, a G-League guy, and the Dallas Top 10 protected 2024 1st.
I didn’t like that one for a few reasons. One, I think Jones can get a shitty first like that without taking on a contract like Fournier. You add Shamet into the mix, someone who could get a second and a younger guy on his own as well, and it seems like a bit of an overpay, especially given this upcoming draft class.

Wright and Shamet are only worth a small handful of 2nds realistically anyways, but if we’re also taking on that Fournier contract I think that’s totally worth a late first round.
The Knicks then get to either resign Delon or let him go for cap space to take a bigger swing in free agency, and having a French vet in the locker room would certainly be nice for Bilal. It’s only fair to him since Poole got Livers lmao
