This is absolutely wild to me. Haliburton’s pull is so dynamic, Siakam wanted to come here over going to play with the second best PG ever.
The way he plays the game is magnetic, and the speed in which he turned this franchise around is bonkers!

Well that and he’ll be the veteran. He sees the potential and want to be part of that growth while tryin to win
2 very different style point guards but this makes sense for someone like Siakam
Also he will be recognized and appreciated for his time here, Poole helped win the Warriors win a ring, KD won two finals mvp for them…and you see those players get attacked by “Warriors fans” 24/7 online.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if most players see Golden State as a “sinking ship”. It’s Curry…and a handful of washed up veterans playing over the young talent.
Not to mention that they would be very limited in retaining someone like Siakam. If he wants to be in a spot long-term, that’s another drop in the Indy/Haliburton bucket over Golden State/Steph.

Siakam didn’t say that. He said he wasn’t interested in playing for GSW which is understandable because they are a dumpster fire this year. That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t love to play with Steph.
