Spurs Owner SPEAKS OUT On Wembanyama Leaving! Also, scouting Zacchaire Risacher!

Zachary ree Zachary re re ree ree ree re I want some n are we having fun yet I’m going to get this man’s name right okay I am I’m seriously going to get this man right um okay uh so let’s let’s see so how how should we go about

This okay I I desperately want to talk about what Holt said um about our San Antonio Spurs okay but also he went to see Zachary R pretty sure that’s how you say it so he he went to see him um and I haven’t told you guys how I felt about Zachary

Ree uh so I guess what we can do is first go over what Hol had to say and then I can just tell you my overall thoughts about Zachary Reet like I won’t go into stats and all that good stuff um but I’ll just give you my overall

Thoughts cuz people have asked me about um him and I I have looked at footage so I I have uh looked into him and everything um all right so let’s go ahead and take a look so what did he have to say about the San Antonio Spurs

This is all you need to know right here baby we want to build a superpower this this is beautiful okay I’m all right I want to rant I’ll rant after I’ll get excited and rant after so let’s go ahead and read through um Holt said the Spurs are not worried about wian

Nyama potentially leaving the team if the lack of success continues instead the organization wants to build a dynasty again a superpower in the NBA yes thank you okay uh luck struck the San Antonio Spurs we received the number one overall pick we know we got Victor W bayama greatest player of all time

Probably will be the greatest player of all time I don’t know we’ll see uh moving on Spurs owner Peter Hol has recently visited France when by yama’s Home Country we know that where he watched a Euro Cup basketball game between oh boy oh God I just got oh man I I just

Got sick trying to say this I there’s no way I will butcher it I’m sorry guys as one of the top draft prospects Zachary R uh put on a show many believe wiim Bama’s impact could be much bigger uh during the during the first year however

Hol is not phased by the lack of success during the players rookie year and doesn’t think wimy might eventually lead the Spurs if such a trend continues thank you uh we don’t think about that exactly good uh we don’t believe believe there’s a deadline for Success some

People try to take short Shortcuts To The Top oh my God oh my God see this is why I keep telling you guys I love this organization okay I I’m I love this organization man thank you gez God okay uh if we had a bad organization I would

Call it out but I’m sorry this is a good organization this is a good mindset I’m sorry I didn’t read through it I’m sorry uh to shortcut circuit the process um it usually backfires having a gen I’m going cry having a generational Talent like Victor and other quality players while having extended Greg

Papovich head coach pop uh for five years building a CEO RC Buford who has built championship teams is the right thing to do at the statistical Collective uh and individual level we are already seeing an evolution uh partially with Victor um this has not yet become a success but it has its

Place uh when we look at the the whole picture uh we know we are on the right track we’ll find the balance between development and results we don’t want a roller coaster between victories and defeats we want to build a superpower an ultra competitive team that lasts for a

Long time in other words ladies and gentlemen the San Antonio Spurs are looking towards a dynasty thank God honestly hold on you know I could sum this up but I’m going to shout somebody out I’m shout somebody out okay this this person follows me and I follow him

On Twitter and he says something that was just so just so Exquisite let me see and I I canot agree more let’s see if I can find it here it is silent silent ghost my boy you are you are great okay always with the with the fire takes and

This is exactly how I feel about it okay so if you don’t know what this is follow me on Twitter by the way and follow him as well uh so I jumped on Twitter I saw this post in which this person said get wimy some effing help good Lord and he

Just highlighted how you know poorly everyone shot or whatever people no one had over 10 points other than Devon fael and wiim banama yes we know the team is not great at uh we we we know we don’t have like a plethora of talent as far as

Shooting wise right now okay we’ll be we’ll be all right um but I said do people realize that a huge chunk of the roster won’t be here next year why are we so eager to FasTrack our way to mediocre team and eventual disgruntled star rebuilds take longer than half of a

Season learn from other teams mistakes and this is how he articulated it and I can not agree more he said you don’t hear about SGA ant bam uh uh SC Scotty Paulo or JW wanting to leave because their team bu built slowly it’s only guys like Lucas Zion K Cunningham Trey

Young Etc whose teams try to be good by getting whoever was available right away to make a playin game or or to make a playin game that are in those exit rumors this is exactly right okay I am stumbling over my words I think it’s because I’m so excited from this article

Uh but yeah it’s it’s true you don’t want to FastTrack it and I think that a lot of teams make that mistake you got to learn from that I know that rebuilds aren’t well I’m I’m sorry I’m having a lot of fun uh but I know for a lot of

Fans especially casual fans it’s not fun you know just to watch them lose okay I don’t want to lose but I am enjoying the process I’m enjoying enjoying seeing who’s going to be here who’s not you know speculating on well does does this person fit with wimy I don’t know you

Know uh what what kind of lottery picks could we get like this is a fun time to be a Spurs fan we did the toughest part which is get wimy that was the most difficult part of this entire thing is get your Superstar we could very well be

In a position right now where we still don’t know right like if we had I’m not trying to talk bad about scoot Henderson because I think he is going to be a good player but if yes say the Spurs would have hypothetically took scoot Henderson and we landed third or whatever uh he

Would be struggling he’s struggling right now he would have been struggling with the Spurs as well he he he’s going to need quite a bit of development and we will still be sitting here like is he I don’t know we have it we did the toughest part and we did it quickly you

Tanked one year and you did it quickly uh so now it’s just a matter of seeing you know who fits with wimy who doesn’t you know looking at the draft do you want to make a boom I’m cool with by the way I don’t think getting Trey young is

An example of your Fast Track I don’t necessarily think that especially if you’re just giving the Atlanta Hawks picks back if you’re just doing that and possibly giving them one of yours in the future and holding on to like Toronto Raptor’s one cuz that one might be

Pretty nice uh I I don’t think that that’s necessarily the case but that’s the reason why the Spurs got so many picks because you can either a just do it strictly from the draft you you don’t have any pressure here to make something happen for anybody you you can make your

Own future um or B uh you can use that draft Capital to go ahead and and and snatch you snatch you a young guy or a really good talent Trey young isn’t even in his prime yet so you could do something like that if you want but I do

Love the idea of take time it takes time and wimy knows he’s in a winning organization uh the These Guys these guys in our front office they know how to make a winning uh uh Team I don’t think we have to necessarily worry about it uh the development process making

Sure we get enough people uh that fits well with wimy winning will be a byproduct and we will be cheering and having a great time and we won’t end up like one of these teams that’s good for a season or make it to the Western Conference Finals a season think that

We’re great and then we’re trash all of a sudden okay we want to continuously be good all right uh the Golden State Warriors it looks like they’re about out the door as far as their Dynasty it’s time for ours to take over okay well not yet okay it’s going to it’s going to

Take a little time I mean I think we’re going to be competing with thunder I feel like thunder is going to probably potentially create a dynasty I’m not going to lie to you guys that’s kind of scary but we will be right there anyways

Okay so that’s all I had to say there um okay Zachary re Rish all right let me just tell you briefly how I feel about him I think that because when I brought up how I really like modes buellis it was quite a few people telling me um you

Need to look into uh ree me personally I like him but right now it’s really tough to tell especially from all the footage out there especially from his games it’s kind of difficult to know what he’ll be in the NBA yet um he’s not really a on ball Creator uh it

Seems like that’s something he still has to work on but everything else is there the size is there uh uh shooting wise is there defense is there uh it’s a lot of upside but just when it comes to can he be a playmaker facilitate can he be a

Guy that can create his own shot he he has necessarily had to and I think that it just comes down to it being pretty difficult when you’re looking at European players at times to see how it would translate um but right right now I like him but me personally I still like

Mes buzel a little bit more I just like how he’s able to get to his specific spots um he he does have that defensive upside to him he can shoot even though he struggle early on um I don’t know I I’m just I’m just bigger on Modis right

Now but but I I do like Zachary ree uh for sure and if the Spurs were to get him and and team him up with wibe I don’t think there will be any issue whatsoever and especially with them being from you know the same country that’s that’s pretty that’s a plus as

Well I guess uh but yeah so you guys let me know what you think about uh that uh maybe I’ll do a more in-depth video in the future at some point uh especially when we get closer to actually like getting draft guys if anybody makes me

Or gets me excited then I’m I’m I’ll easily make a video on them but uh right now that’s just kind of my thought process but I have to watch more it’s fine I’ll just watch more but this is good news guys this is absolutely good news and I think sometimes we get a

Little bit blinded okay I said we all right probably me I get a little bit blinded uh when it comes to like Spurs fans take on things and it’s just nice to know that the organization is doing it the right way and we don’t have to

Sit back and worry about oh my God we’re about to make a huge mistake and it rarely happens with the Spurs so anyways I will get with you guys later until next time Bye

  1. Everybody is on the same page. CEO, GM, Staff, Players and especially our generational talent. We're cooking something special.

I wouldnt put the Thunder on the dynasty level tho. Let them play in the playoffs first.. and lets not overrate draft picks. Its like stocks. Its worth nothing until you cash out.

  2. God i hope we draft Risacher. Risacher is by far the best and most efficient shooter in this draft and thats what we desperately need. We need a point guard too, but there is no "clear best point guard" in this draft so we can use our toronto pick for a point guard. Risacher i feel is the clear best shooter and god we need somebody who can give us a consistent 50% from the field every night. If we drafted Buzelis, that would contribute to our shooting woes significantly. Theres a reason why hes sinking further down in the mock drafts.

Also, has G-League Ignite ever translated to the NBA well? Im sorry, im taking players that play in europe over G-league ignite players ANY day.

  3. Euro leuge sucks, nba is to democratic, especially pop he's to to democratic. Who cares what's going on around the world just stick to basketball and let the players play

  4. The West is as stacked with young talent as I have ever seen so no one's becoming a dynasty. Between Jokic in Denver, SGA & Chet in OKC, Ant in Minnesota, Doncic in Dallas, Ja in Memphis, and finally Wemby on the Spurs we're looking at the West being a bloodbath for bare minimum the next six or seven years. Oldest guy on the list is Jokic at 28 and he's got an old man game like Tim so should still be a force when he's 36 too. Then imagine if Zion hadn't eaten his way out of superstardom.

  5. You really think you're some kind of celebrity don't you? I can tell you've let YouTube fool you into thinking you're opinions really hold some kind of weight🤦🏾‍♂️ honestly you come off as a closet homosexual, that is trying to hide his sexuality with acting like he's so into sports! Could I be completely wrong? Sure, but I doubt it🥱 you give off super zesty vibes j/s 😏🤷🏿‍♂️

  6. To be precise, in french if the letter "s" is between two voyels, it's pronounced "z" so Risacher should be pronounced "Rizacher". By the way his dad was a great national french player so it's great to see his son playing at this level.

  7. Risacher is the one! French connection. Helps with our perimeter defense and shooting. Cuts well. Doesn’t need the ball to be effective. Gives Wemby an outlet when wemby gets doubled. We need defense! Not a pg! Wemby is clearly effective without a super talent PG. Wemby is not effective without good perimeter defense who can slow down defenders so Wemby can help as a help defender. The TEAM needs the PG so they can be effective without Wemby. Wemby doesn’t need a PG as much as the team. The pg’s in this draft class all present more defensive issues for the spurs. We need to increase size, defense, and shooting Risacher is our answer to those issues.

  8. I feel OKC will be like the 2015-18 version of Toronto Raptors. Good regular season team but stumbles in the playoffs. SGA is like a bit more efficient version of Derozan with a bit D, both can't shoot threes to save their lives. They are actually exposed in the last few games.

  9. I don't see Victor Wembanyama leaving the Spurs. He is of the same ilk as players such as David Robinson, Tim Duncan, and Dirk Nowitzki (as a fellow European) who remained loyal and stayed with one franchise for the entirety of their career.

  10. I will lose however long it takes for us to get free coffee all through the playoffs again. Ahh I can hear the honking now all throughout the city…😊 I love you San Antonio.

  11. “We’ve crushed them on the basketball court, and we’re going to for years because of the way we’ve built this team,” said Lacob.“We’re light-years ahead of probably every other team in structure, in planning, in how we’re going to go about things."

~Joe Lacob, Golden State Warriors Majority Owner, April 4th, 2016

  12. 2nd coming of Timmy…he had David to help him and Sean! Wemby doesn’t have anyone but he still has Pop, RC and Brian. It’s coming!

  13. The rebuttal to Ghost is just too easy, I can't help myself —

    1) Shai WAS A TRADE. So literally OKC's best player was acquired in a swap — a current franchise player for a franchise player. Paul George is still a superstar, so they're about even thus far.

    2) Ant's team made one of the most lopsided trades in history for Rudy Gobert giving up a farm of draft picks and that was BEFORE Ant signed his extension. It's starting to pay dividends now, but the longterm aging on that could erode pretty quickly.

    3) Ja wanting out? Ja's just fortunate to be w/an organization that embraces him after all he's troubles — and they were winning. Why would Ja ask out if they're winning and he's had all his gun drama?

    4) Bam's in Miami — that's a TOP FA destination. Always has been, always will be. Miami baby, if you've been there, you know.

    5) Paulo is still on his rookie deal!!! Gimme a break.

    6) Toronto's only just trying to build around Scottie, but we'll see how he's feeling towards the end of this next contract. We all remember when Kawhi signed that big extension in 2015… or AD signed his extension. Guys nearly ALWAYS sign their rookie max extensions.

    7) Zion has a good team — but he and his co-star, Ingram, can't stay healthy for the life of them. Health, out of shape, conditioning, you gotta feel for CJ McCollum. By all rights, they built Zion a contender, he just hasn't been healthy/committed enough to lead it. They were lucky they got off Lonzo before he had his injury.

    8) Luka and his Mavs don't look so terrible right now w/Kyrie balling out like that. Maybe not a championship contender but you've always got a chance when you've got one of the best players in the league.

    9) Not sure what shortcuts Troy Weaver made for Cade in Detroit — they didn't exactly go superstar shopping or make some obvious move the way Minny did. That's just bad GM'ing on Weaver's part acquiring guys like Bagley and Wiseman when you already have Stewart and Duren. Maybe one — but both. I could do a whole précis on questionable Detroit personnel moves.

Then again, what else is Holt going to say, really? And is R.C. Buford calling the shots or is Brian Wright, the GM since 2019?? I don't know if you can just give the FO such benefit of the doubt after these last few years, including that Primo debacle, which the Spurs FO never really addressed. This is a pretty weak draft and outside of a player every GM would've picked last year, we have to put our faith in a guy who drafted Samanic, Vassell over Tyrese and Bane, and Primo and Wieskamp and Malaki and Wesley. Tre Jones was a great pick. Sochan was an amazing pick. So we'll see. But this year has been a disappointment, there's just no way to slice it. Wemby should be cruising to his ROY trophy on a 27 win team, instead of likely losing to Chet on 15 win team. That's on BW, that's on R.C., and yes, that's even on this coaching staff and Pop, who announced this year, "It's about winning." Let's see if they can bring in some backcourt depth this trade deadline to maybe salvage a few highlight wins for the rest of Wemby's rookie season so he doesn't have to carry them all by himself most of the time.

  14. man, i cant wait till we on top again to shut up all the haters. people hating on pop because spurs are not winning now. they thought by drafting wemby we'd be a championship caliber team overnight. not sure if you guys saw the interview TP had with manu. manu said that it would probably take 2-3 years before we can even compete. those casual fans better sit tight. there will be more growing pains to come!
