Luka Doncic & Kyrie Irving lead Dallas Mavericks vs Minnesota Timberwolves

The Dallas Mavericks have been looking for a signature win they’ve been good against teams that are with bad records they have not been good against teams with winning records and they found one tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves and the best team in the west they did it on the back of their

Stars Luca donic and Kyrie Irving are able to get Buckets when they needed to out dueling Anthony Edwards and Carl Anthony towns this Dallas Mavericks win came without Derek Lively the Mavs went small for a lot of this game they played with Dwight Powell who worked his ass

Off in this game to try and get any kind of Advantage he could some of them a little dirty but still the Mavs are able to come away with this win against the Minnesota Timberwolves and all of a sudden you start to look in this Mavs

Team seems to be coming together in some ways they can step up against some of these better teams in the west and if they can add some more wins like this maybe start feeling better about where the Dallas Mavericks are and how they can beat some of these teams that they

May match up with in the playoffs

  1. Please check me on this but I believe it’s the first time in Mavs history three guys (Powell, Jones and Kyrie!) had at least five offensive rebounds in a game. Dallas still lost the offensive rebounding stat (18-15) but this was still sort of a miracle.

  2. The Mavericks have been looking for an upgrade at the 4 spot and a big man to upgrade their frontcourt which is intriguing. This home stand has been great so far but we gotta finish it and see where we are come trade deadline. There was a report earlier today saying something about bringing back DFS and getting Nic Claxton which I think makes sense. This is what a potential deal could look like:

    Mavericks Acquired:
    PF/SF Dorian Finney-Smith
    C/PF Nic Claxton

    Nets Acquired:
    SG/SF Tim Hardaway Jr
    SF/SG Josh Green
    2027 1st

  3. Thats what i always say. Powell brings in so much good energy, you have to praise that skill. Not the best player, but a good team player. Always.
