celtics fan here, nothing but respect. i hope (and think) we’ll take the next one, but if we do it’ll probably be as close as this game
First. Can’t wait for the big game tonight.
How about White locking MPJ down? lmfao
Cs had 98 with 4:51 remaining in the fourth
I’m stoked we won but can we get MPJ more involved in these big games. He was 5/9. He shot it well.
That and-1 dunk Murray got should be a bigger highlight, it also got me thinking:
Since December 29th, probably what most people would consider the beginning of his “struggles” such as they are, and before tonight he has 125 “Drives” or 13.9 per game, which are 19th and 17th in the league in that span, he has been awarded 8 FTA or 0.9 per game.
Among players with at least 120 drives or 13.0 per game that 8 ranks dead last and the 0.9 is tied for dead last (n=23) another way of putting it is he draws a FTA on 6.4% of drives.
Now he does pass rather frequently out of his drives 47% is 3rd in the sample, but that’s only 0.2% higher than Giannis (20.1 FT% or 30 FTs on 149 drives), 3.6% higher than Mikal Bridges (14.9 FT%), 5.2% higher than Jalen Brunson (20.3 FT%), 6.1% higher than SGA (17.4 FT%), and the two guys ahead of him Malik Monk at 50.9 Pass% has 10.1 FT% and his closest comp TJ McConnell (49.7 Pass%) is at 6.4 FT%.
Anyway, my point is I’m pretty sure refs just guess at fouls on drives.
Jihad jamal ❌
Jesus jamal ✅✅
Sombor Munder tonight
Eastern conference is a joke. When Nuggets try to win, they win.
Shout out the Cs fan that sent reddit cares on me. Suck a diiiiiiick
FYI, Blade is on USA right now, you’re welcome
Also, that was probably pretty damn close to the playoff rotation, Michael Malone wanted that one bad (unless there were some injuries I’m unaware of).
I don’t owe Jamal Murray an apology because I never doubted that Jamal Murray was Jamal Murray
I found a hat lurk needs to buy. Can someone remind me in the morning to tell him?
Did y’all notice that Reggie defended Tingus Pingus better than he defends perimeter shooters? Something to think about with that 7 foot wing span.
Big dubs! Gave the Celtics their first double-digit loss!

Such an encouraging win, EVERYTHING was going the celtics way but we still got it done
All Murray non-believers can wash themselves of their sins by saying 20 Hail Murrays.
The text for those unfamiliar:
>Hail Murray, full of grace,
>Jokic is with thee.
>Blessed art thou amongst ballers,
>And blessed is the fruit of thy jumpshot, buckets.
>Holy Murray, Taker of Ankles,
>Play for us sinners,
>Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Joker juking for the jump ball was such a big and smart play. That guy is really good at basketball
Only 39 2nd half points for the C’s. Great team defense. C’s not a great passing team and can get stagnant.
Shout out to Murray doubters. Is it the first full season they’re watching or something?
Even though it would’ve been nice if we of beaten Both Sixers and Celtics. What one did you guys want to win more before these 2 games happend? For Me it was the Celtics just to see if we could’ve ended that Home Winning Streak mostly.
I really liked the play the nugs ran that got Jok a 3 from the point late in the game. Watched that several times, cool to see them execute a play so clean that even Tingus didn’t know what was happening until it was too late.
Never in doubt
Hey ya’ll it’s that annoying Celtic fan here, who loves you guys, and who attended this game.
What a blast! Jokic is unreal man. You guys brought discipline and focus you haven’t shown all season, and it was a great test for the Celtics. Everyone in Boston was great, but Tatum and Brown were awful, and won’t always be that bad.
On the contrary, Jokic and Murray were great, about what you could expect from both in the playoffs, but everyone else sucked.
I think both teams left a bit on the table and a series would be one hell of a competitive one! Jokic is unreal. 14-22 was more like 14-18 minus the heaves

🙄 Meanwhile, Embiid gets 2 of the funniest fouls I’ve seen in years against Orlando. That was unreal shit what refs gave to Embiid against Orlando
I’ll admit I would have rather had the Sixers game than tonight but you really can’t complain with the 1-1 split.
Tingus first 3 minutes: 3.7 pts/minute. Last 36 minutes: 0.3 pts/minute.
Biiig road W
Does anyone have the clip of Doris crying about the lane violation?
