Joel Embiid & Tyrese Maxey shine; Sixers down Magic on the road | PHLY Sixers
The Sixers start the weekend off right with a road win in Orlando behind Joel Embiid’s game-high 36 points — all through three quarters. The big fella had no trouble navigating the Magic’s defense as he finished 12-22 from the field and living at the free throw line converting all 11 tries. Tyrese Maxey also flourished in the win, adding 32 as he turned it up in the second half. Philadelphia has now won four straight, improving to 27-13 on the season. Next up — on the second night of a back-to-back — a visit to Charlotte to face the Hornets on Saturday night.
Derek Bodner, Kyle Neubeck and Devon Givens recap the Friday night win for the 76ers.
