So it’s a vanity project for Jeanie and Pelinka? That’s fucked.

It seems relatively known that Jeanie hasn’t made good basketball decisions. She was saved because Bron wanted to come to LA and he brought AD. Otherwise, the Lakers would have continued being irrelevant. And if they’re not careful, Bron will walk and if AD sees another Pelicans situation in his prime he will ask out as well.

  3. so it was Jim Buss at 1st right?

now Jeanie, and next might be Jesse/Joey?

and theres a 5th Buss heir too i think

  4. Oh okay. So just making shit up lol. Media is insufferable.

  5. The best thing would be for Jeanie to focus on the business/commercial side of the lakers and let the two brothers have a shot at basketball ops. Magic said they were learning from him while simultaneously running the Gleague team

  6. The brothers have had a hand in the only continued organizational success which is the drafting and choice of talent.

Jeanie has shown putting the right talent in position is her worst attribute. They should take over.

Jesse and Joey are great figures in the organization. It comes down to Pelinka’s performance and his performance ever since the deciding Westbrook was the move has been lackluster. Lebron and AD deserve blame on that decision as well.

Joey and Jesse are the reason our scouting is so good. Those guys know basketball and they’ve been working hard at it for a long time. They just started getting recognition past few years because of how well we’ve drafted. They’re also step brothers of Jeanie and her siblings, they weren’t there in the 80s, they are much smarter than the rest of the clan too. Jeanie isn’t good at hiring the best and doesn’t know basketball either. We need someone better running the show

I’d be 100% behind Jesse and Joey instead of the current regime

Why can’t Jeanie just do Lakers business ops and let Jesse and Joey have the basketball side.

They’re all nepo kids, the fuck I care.

  12. There were reports that started coming out last year that the Jesse and Joey Buss have started having power that unless Jeanie, Pelinka, Joey/Jesse and I assume the Rambii, all agree on a decision collectively, it won’t happen. For example, the Turner/Hield trade for Russ/2 1sts didn’t happen because not everyone in that circle agreed.

I think Jeanie really is good in that she loves the Lakers and is trying to keep her father’s legacy ongoing. But I think she needs to continue leaning on her two brothers for the betterment of the franchise.

  13. We just one a chip the turn of this decade and now 4 years into it were losers 😔

Lol but when I said it a month ago I got downvoted to hell, banned, and my post removed 😂 Im noticing that this sub is very reactionary, and doesn’t seem to think right is right & wrong is wrong.

    That shit is obvious.

firing him not even a full year after giving him a 5 year deal would leave beyond a shadow of a doubt they fucked up. They have fucked up alot these last couple years. if not for the 2020 championship, this has been a fucking disaster show.

  16. claydavisismyhero

They just want to fire him at the end of the season. Protects them. That simple.

  17. Lakers_TheGOATteam

So a takeaway from this is Jesse/Joey are somewhat in good spots cause if Jeanie and Pelinka fire Ham a internal struggle could happen cause they possibly lose power
