raptors unsure if they could re-sign siakam so they got what they could which were some late 1st round picks. Not that good: B grade
Simply put, pacers went from a historic good team in season to a contending team in the playoffs by adding a player who was in the best fast pace team. If they get to extend him, A+
This is what I’ve been saying, it’s a great trade that makes sense for Indy but I don’t think it elevates them to the Heat, Celtics, Bucks, Sixers tier but instead moves them to the top of the Cavs, Knicks tier that they were already sort of in

I just don’t understand how this could be better for the raptors… the Pacers got rid of Bruce browns contract, gained an all star player and great second option that won a championship before. He knows how to show gratitude and respect! Three 1st rnd picks and Bruce brown which we literally have (DS, IQ) already we couldve gotten nesmith or walker instead this was a BAD TRADE!

I hate it. Pacers start the season off well, so they switch everything up. People are over-valuing Siakm. They should be focused on developing their young players and not trying to rush into a 6 seed and first round playoff exit. They should play Bennedict Mathurin or trade him. Carlisle won't play Walker, so he isn't going to contribute anything for a while….. The Raptors suck, so I wouldnt be showering their GM with love, he just used a lottery pick on Grady Dick. I don't think they will etch that decision on his tombstone
