How the Cavaliers are Winning Without Darius Garland & Evan Mobley – Sports4CLE, 1/19/24

Caves uh 24 and 15 they’ve won six straight 11 of their last 14 um and those are without Darius Garland and Evan Mobley who have been injured uh most people probably didn’t see that coming let’s welcome in samiko from hoops.com so Sam uh the big question is how have they done

It yeah that’s a great question you know I don’t think a lot of people were expecting it but you know obviously a whole lot of Don Mitchell Jared Allen has really raised his game up uh and then you’re talking about you know the guys on the quote unquote role players

On the perimeter the Caris levers the dean Wades the Sam Merrills the Isaac o coros all those guys have stepped up and of course you know George yangang who looked like Larry Bird the other night against the Milwaukee Bucks uh all those guys have managed to to step up maybe

Not consistently in scoring but in other areas they’ve been very consistent so uh you know credit to to Kobe Alman Cap’s president who went out and got you know at a depth of course I forgot Max stru in there who’s also been a contributor offseason addition uh and credit JB

Bicker staff for for you know giving these guys uh reason to believe and and making sure they’ve stayed unified and Cavs have also been defending pretty well and that’s something they do you know even obviously with Moy and Garland but but they’ve done that very well even without those two
