If we had the IST for several years and the IST winner always went deep in the playoffs *maybe* winning it starts to have meaning.
But right now it comes off like the NBA trying to make us care about something we don’t care about.

That game was rough, but I feel it because I went to the last game they played in Phoenix and we got beat in a similar fashion that night as well.

I know it’s pretty much split on people who liked it and didn’t, but in general the in season tournament was such a money thirsty grab by the league offices. I don’t need to be prodded to actually watch my squad play meaningless games, Adam Silver.
If they really wanted to make it mean something, then **make it mean something**. Whichever team wins it gets an auto berth in the playoffs maybe? Just seemed so hastily introduced and I feel that’s why there’s so many who had a problem with it.
