The Knicks WON The OG Anunoby Trade + LATEST New York Knicks Trade Rumors

I mean I mean I told you I tried to tell you I tried to tell you the New York Knicks beat the Toronto Raptors 126 to 100 let’s just pour one out let’s pour one out for all the people that said the Toronto Raptors won this trade because I don’t know where they’re

At I don’t know where they’re at we had over 13,000 people tune to our live stream I didn’t see anyone that showed up that said that Nicks lost his trade so ask you who won the trade type K for the Knicks Type R for the Raptors oh it is fun

Winning is fun but you know what’s even more fun when you have this guy on your basketball team Jaylen Brunson you are nasty you are one sick mfer you are one of the best basketball players in the NBA I don’t think he should be the MVP but if you call yourself a

Knowledgeable NBA fan and you talk about the MVP race and you don’t mention the 6 foot one Lefty lightskinn dude that wears number 11 for the Knicks you shouldn’t talk basketball because if the New York Knicks did not have this player God knows where they would be 38 points

Nine assists 56 6 and a half% from the field and 45.5% from three on 11 attempts the dude is different thank you Jaylen Brunson for choosing to play for the New York Knicks you are a special special basketball player RJ Barrett I thought actually played a good game

Against the Toronto Raptors um I thought he did I thought he did uh was very bad from the free throw line which is actually uncharacteristic for him this season he was three of nine from the stripe uh with the Knicks prior to the Raptor trade he was having a career Year

From the foul line um I do love that RJ bar and Emanuel quickly did get a standing ovation when they were announced in the starting lineup they were announced and everybody was on their feet and then at the first TV time out the Madison Square Garden Jumbotron

Played them a tribute video I didn’t think a tribute video was all that necessary but it was a nice touch and I got a lot lot of respect for Emanuel quickley and RJ bear I appreciate what they did for us but at the end of the

Day the New York Knicks won this trade they are 10 and one following the trade in games that Jaylen Brunson has played this dude is really good at basketball this dude is exactly what the New York Knicks needed they are 10 and one win games that Jaylen Brunson and ogn and

Obi have played and he missed his shots from down blcks a three on RJ Barrett all over the floor defensively um he was great also Julius Randall was good as well uh that’s a player that I have been very critical of this year a little heavy on the

Turnovers a little heavy on the turnovers but overall man played a damn good game he played a damn good game 18 point 16 boards 10 assists 50 plus perc from the field and shooting the three ball a little bit better if he can start to knock that

Down that’ll be hugee for this team going into the spring yeah a part of the trade as well is prua who may be in for a bigger workload than we initially anticipated with the news coming out that Isaiah hartenstein has a sore ankle and it costed him to miss the entire fourth

Quarter if it’s a playoff game does Isaiah hartstein still play through the ankle maybe maybe they held him out because it was a blowout but I love the way he played and there’s no doubt about it he played with a little more juice cuz he was playing against his old team

Nicks need to bring him have him bring that type of energy every single night showed his ability to put the ball on the deck attack the rim I thought he played great press TOA we appreciate you will MCC says forier Grimes and two protected picks for Murray and AJ

Griffin or Murray and sadique Bay who do you think gives us more now and in the future I’m a bigger uh sadique bay guy than AJ Griffin uh he has more size uh I think he’s a little bit better of a Defender and he went to Villanova

And he went to Villanova I think sadik Bay 67 I think AJ Griffin 66 so not much different there but I trust sadique Bay in catch and shoot situations more than AJ Griffin I think it’ll have to be a little bit more than two protective picks especially if you’re getting back

Sadique Bay or Griffin uh I think if the Knicks actually wanted to to get a Deon Murray deal done they’re GNA have to include forier Grimes their first round pick next year and a future second and a future first round pick and maybe even two protected first round picks I would

Do it this team is on the cusp of being one of the best teams in the NBA Windows to win in the NBA are never as long as you originally think push your chips in and let’s go right now Lewis what up man maybe a long shot but your thoughts tyus

Jones and Cory kisber for 48 in the Washington pick back and maybe a second that way you can keep Grimes for another trade I think that would be a good trade and I think that would help the Knicks but at the end of the day um I’m only doing that trade if it’s

About five minutes left until the trade deadline I want to see what else is out there I’m a fan of kissper that dude could shoot the piss out of the ball I also love tus Jones one of the best turnover to assist ratios in the NBA but for

Me I want a guy that can play the two and I want a guy that can run the offense the guy I want to add the trade deadline is someone that could be on the same floor can be on the floor to close games alongside Jaylen Brunson at that

Two I don’t really have all that much confidence in tus Jones and Brunson being on the four together they really s small in the back court but is it a trade that gets you better um but you’d be really long in the rotation again CU you’ve added you’ve taken one guy in

Forier that wasn’t in the rotation and you’re adding a Tyas Jones and a Cory kisper to the rotation I don’t see tips going 110 um I don’t think this trade would happen to be honest with you we’ll get to more questions coming up in a second but

First I Gotta Give a huge shout out to today’s sponsor Factor go to factor meals.com nch50 use the promo code Nix chat 50 and get 50% off your first first first order if you’re look for fresh never Frozen Chef prepared dietician approved meals that you can get for breakfast lunch and

And a protected first would love you to compare Terry Ros and brogen’s game and who fits better I think br Brogden fits a little bit better gives you a little bit more size Brogden 6465 he could play the point but he also could play off ball

And I trust him to be more of a switchable defender on defense whereas Terry Rosier is only 6 foot one I think Rosier is more gifted offensively I think Roser is probably the better player but I hope that we’ve learned one thing from this RJ bar and Emanuel quickly trade it’s

Not always about an upgrade in Talent you don’t always have to add another better player fit matters so much and how much do I really want Terry Rosier and Jaylen Brunson playing together I’m playing the Boston Celtics and they roll out a lineup of true holiday Derek white

Jaylen Brown Jason Tatum and porzingis they don’t have anyone on their team smaller than 6’4 6’5 playing do I really want to try to match that with a small 61 Terry Roser and a small 61 jayen Brunson I’m not saying Malcolm Brogden is an elite Defender and it helps you

There but I do think it gives you a better chance to defend the Celtics than Rosier Rosier gives you a better option to run the second unit because I think he’s a better player um but the fit matters and I want that guy to be able

To play alongside Brunson and not be a defensive liability that’s just my take KW does Moses Moody do anything for you no I don’t want Moses Moody I want I want a guard I want a guard I want a guard one that create for themselves can

Create for others can hit open shots and play alongside Brunson while also running the second unit I don’t necessarily think a Score first Wing is really what the New York knicker need right now EC do you think we have a chance against the bucks or Sixers

Absolutely I would bet on us to beat the Bucks and the Sixers I don’t think the set the Bucks are a good matchup for us said that wrong I don’t think we are a good matchup for the bucks in the sense of they don’t have anyone that can guard

Our best player and their best player has to guard Julius Randall and the best way for the bucks to play defense is for Giannis to be that roaming Defender randle’s going to make him work I will say their size does scare me a little bit but if I’m getting back Mitchell

Robinson and I have Isaiah hartenstein I’ll take my chances because they can’t play they can’t guard our best player they can’t guard our best player Levi is the best I think tibs should run more pin down screens for OG in the left corner I remember them doing that play against the Timberwolves and

It worked instead of inefficient Ren isos um yeah I I agree and and not just pin down screens like OG I think has gotten more and more comfortable in this offense and they continue to get him looks and I think the more you can get him integrated in this offense more

Comfortable it’ll help because as much as we came in this trade with the understanding that OG is a great catch and shoot guy he is but we’ve seen some games where he goes 0 for three or we’ve seen some games where he goes one for

Four but if you can give him those easy buckets those easy layups feel have him feel more engaged I think that’ll help the three-point shot we’ve also seen he’s 6’8 230 and he is strong as an ox he can take a shoulder into someone and

Bounce off him and get to the Lane I also think probably would help trying to resign him if he got more looks on this offense you need him to be happy um love the way he’s playing though he doesn’t need the ball but when he does he usually makes the right play Jay

If iHeart is hurt and expected to miss any significant amount of time should the N prioritize a real backup big leading up to the deadline I’d probably just resign Taj Gibson I’d probably just resign Taj Gibson um because I’m under the understanding that Mitchell Robinson is going to come

Back I told you guys he was not done for the year when they initially said that the Nicks applied for that because they applied for that doesn’t mean he’s out for the year in fact when they didn’t get granted the exception that almost doubled down that he would be back it

Was December 11th they said 8 to 10 weeks I don’t know math and I don’t know calendars but the playoffs start around April that ain’t 8 to 10 weeks and I don’t need Mitch to come back as much as I love Mitchell Robinson as much as I

Like I respect him they don’t need him to come back and I don’t even know why I said that they don’t need him to come back and be 100% I don’t know if he comes off the bench I don’t know if he starts but he’s not 100% give me 10

Minutes in the first half give me 10 minutes in the second half and protect the rim and crash the glass that’s where I’m at on that um extended period of Time how much how much time like it’s a it’s it’s a sore ankle they didn’t say sprained ankle

They said sore ankle you also got Jericho like I’m not saying Jericho is someone that’s going to move the move the needle um but he did start 14 games last year for you in January and you had a winning record when Robinson went down

Last year I I can get 25 26 minutes from auua and 21 22 from Jericho is that going to be beautiful is that going to win your games no that’s why you got that dude we number 11 and hopefully number 30 continues to play well as always I just

Want to say thank you and I appreciate you and go Nicks what a trade what a trade what a trade

Knicks vs. Raptors highlights are the topic of discussion in today’s Knicks YouTube video. Seeing RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley return to Madison Square Garden for the first time since the OG Anunoby trade was weird. IQ and RJ got off to a hot start but it was Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle who closed the game out for the Knicks. According to the latest Knicks trade rumors Leon Rose is looking to add a player to this roster before the NBA Trade Deadline, but for who? Could it be Dejounte Murray, Terry Rozier, Alec Burks or someone else? 1. When OG gets hurt or worn down, then what are you going to say… let the trade go already and let's worry about the next trade we need to make and move forward.

  2. Both teams got what they wanted in this trade. If Knicks win BIG against the Raptors in Toronto, then Knicks would have an advantage in the trade! If Knicks win the season series, then you could say Knicks won this trade…

  3. Lol Knicks won the trade?! Knicks still have to sign him. Dude you are pure jokes. Raps are re-building team. Get over it.

  4. Let's not get ahead of ourselves least we forget Toronto is in rebuild mode and just traded away Pascal let's see what happens after they are done. They were undermanned so It needs to be taken with a grain of salt

  5. I wouldn't say we won the trade . I would say both teams got what they needed. Toronto got two young players that needed a new scenery. They got a starting point guard in quickley, they got a good 2 guard in rj barett. The knicks got a lock down three and D wing in annunoby. Quickely will develop into a fine player that will further develop. Both teams made out in this trade both teams got what they needed .

  6. We didn't win this trade because we won this game. Only time will tell. We were the better team before and after the trade. We'll win this trade if we make it to the ECF. For the raptors, it'll be 3-4 years before we see.

  7. This trade cannot be judged until OG re-signs for less than a Max Deal.
The Raptors are doing a rebuild on the fly, and you can't judge until they utilize the assets they've collected from New York and Indiana. Judging based on last night is short sighted.

  8. Toronto is in a rebuild. They are looking toward the future. So both teams won the trade. They had no Siakam either since he was traded. I wasnt impressed with the first half of the game with 13 turnovers. Honestly if there was no Brunson that would have been a blowout the other way. You know Randle wasnt gonna win yesterdays game for us if Brunson wasnt around.

  9. C’mon, it’s too early to call it after two weeks and one game. OG is the best for with our Knicks and RJ/IQ package was really nice plus the best SRP you can have. Too soon jr.

  10. It was a perfect example of a win-win trade. The Knicks and Raptors are on two very different timelines. Of course the Knicks are going to defeat the Raptors in the here and now. For the Raptors this trade is about building around Scottie Barnes for the future. It's going to be a great rebuild. In three years, there can be discussions of who beats who. Cheers for now!

  11. Knicks won the trade! We need another playmaker that either specializes in defense or a pm that specializes in bettering buckets. Either will do.

  12. Tribute video was dope, miss RJ and Quick since they were part of our core young brodies….but respect to them it’s bitter sweet they will flourish in the future but we needed to make a move for the immediate future.

  13. I wish that players would take shots and move in and try and get their own rebounds instead of standing there and admiring their shot, or back peddling down court before the shot goes in. I always would take my shot and move in towards the basket in an attempt to get my own rebound.

  14. As a Knick fan, I agree that the Knicks have 👉🏾preliminarily 👈🏾won the trade. We are surging, while Toronto is rebuilding. However, both teams got only a portion what they needed and only time will tell who really “won” the trade. What if Toronto makes a few more moves and wins a chip in 5 years with Scottie, IQ and RJ as key pieces; and in that time frame we falter or only reach the First round, EC semis or ECF? Let’s wait and see what other moves are made, who gets injured and let’s see what happens over the next few years. Toronto is playing the long game.

  15. Ridiculous question and even more ridiculous 'take'. Basing an analysis of a trade on the results of one game? Seriously? Trades take on clarity over time, sometimes several seasons. And this was a trade between two teams with different timelines. If the Knicks somehow beat the Celtics and win the east this season, then you can assess the trade one way. But what if they don't resign OG then you'd reach a different conclusion. Similarly, what if, in 2 seasons the Raptors have one of the best under 26-yr old lineups in the league and IQ is an elite point guard? All possible require different conclusions. But assessing anything based one game in January is for dummies!

  16. I think the tribute video was necessary. They had some very memorable moments and IQ/RJ were right. They did help rebuild the culture.

  17. It was an even trade. But losing RJ & IQ still hurts. It was a move forward for us. I want BRUCE BROWN. Finals if we get him as Guard 2nd team off the bench, 6th man. Then we have, Herb Jones… 1 more SMART Move away!!

  18. Still early, but I believe the Knicks are better today than when RJ and IQ were on the team, but the Raptors did get two solid players.

  19. I think that if we acquire Brogdon and have him run the point with the second unit and keep the starting unit intact we could make it to the eastern conference semis easily. Brogdon, Grimes, Hart and Achiuwa is a solid bench. Thibbs should Let DiVincenzo FINISH games with the starting unit. OG and Brogdon are solid pickups without losing a lot of players and draft capital. Then we make the big splash in the summer! I love Dejounte Murray but the price is too high and we need all the assets we can hold onto for the summer. Oh and Yes the Knicks won the trade for OG.

  20. To say anyone won you have to think of the long game for each team. For the Knickerbockers they win the trade by not only making it to the playoffs but going deep in the playoffs. A ECF appearance automatically makes the Knicks the winner regardless of what the Raptors do or gain. If the Raptors can grow around RJ and Quick then they win the trade, however determining that is a much longer process and verdict. Now if the question is who is the better team and who won in regards of that subject, The Knicks are a much better team than The Raptors end of story, and in that regard they not only won , they beat the dog shit out of Toronto.

  21. Everyone saying it’s a “win win” or “The Raptors are rebuilding and The Knicks are fighting for title contention” just know if the Knicks lost this game you and everyone else would be looking at the Knicks as losers of the trade, the fact that they won and people still don’t believe they got more for the trade than the Raptors is not only unfair it’s absurd. Instead of saying who won I’ll give them a grade for how much better and fundamental the pieces being swapped were for each respective team.

Knicks – Solid A : They opened up space on the court, have become clearer on defense, cleared money under the luxury, gained an elite defender in OG and have dramatically increased their winning odds from it. Overall the Knicks basically got a major boost and almost no negatives besides bench scoring which can be fixed with another trade (for the right price) I’d say they’re 86% better than where they were before the trade, and in the long run have the potential if the right pieces fall 99% better and a potential Championship contender especially if Brunson becomes hotter than he already is and gains a support system that plays at his clip. Basically the Knicks have the capability of becoming the T-Wolves of the East.

Raptors – B+ : The Raptors have better offensive players on the floor, and overall a very nice and clean slate to improve upon very quickly at that. It will only take maybe getting one star talent and or a decent draft pick to boost this team back into playoff contention. Major downside is the fact that IQ is a rental, he will still be up for grabs this summer and Toronto will have to begin they’re rebuild down $100 Mill for 4 years from the jump with a player that “kind of” deserves it if they want to keep him. It’s a slippery slope for both parties because if IQ doesn’t show he’s worth it he’s going to become a running gag instead of a major acquisition, and if he gets the bag from Toronto and then doesn’t produce at his expected price ladies and gentlemen Andrea Bargnarni pt. 2 . Also RJ has to improve from where he was on the Knicks. He can no longer hide behind Randle or Brunson, he will be the face of the Raptors next to Scottie B. and if he doesn’t it’s basically over for his career at this point as a starter so if anyone has to prove and IMOROVE out of anyone in the trade it’s him. They about 34% better than where they were before the trade in regards of play but in the long run they have the potential to be 95% better overall.
