I believe in Grant Williams
I’m glad he’s able to be honest about himself and his play. In all fairness it’s not 100% on him. He’s been put, frequently, in small ball lineups where he has a battle defensively that he is overmatched in which takes a lot of energy and fouls which causes his minutes to be sporadic. I have confidence that with Maxi’s return and as we get healthy he will get back to form.
Truth be told the Mavs stuck with Bullock for years who was a terrible shooter for October – January every season and then turned the corner and would knock down big shots.
Grant helps us a lot, we need to use him effectively. I know it’s dramatic and a bad example but if we put Lively at the 3 spot he is going to look terrible too
