Interesting interview from Lewis

Thought this was an interesting interview. For the main reason being our best reporter is basically saying this team is poorly coached. Pretty much backs what we are seeing which is that this coach is not good enough what’s so ever.

Would be hilarious if Sean just hired himself as the new HC. Does double duty like Pop.

Very interesting indeed. Perhaps cuz we suck but I’m just shocked at the lack of media pressure on JV to do better or Sean Marks to put JV on the hot seat. I get that in the nba coaches generally don’t dictate success but I’m willing to bet coaches tend to have bigger impact when the actual team composition is poor or lacks clear superstar talent.

JV isn’t a good coach. It is blatantly obvious. The team is now an NBA joke. Tsai needs to fix this soon. Fans will move the blame to him soon. Marks shouldn’t be the guy to hire the next coach. He has made too many mistakes to be trusted.

I’m like 70% convinced Becky Hammon will be our coach by this summer.

Tsai and his wife love the WNBA. Hammon won two straight championships there. Spurs connections with Marks.

Also, Knicks fans are all pissy over her Brunson comments.

    It’s just too obvious, right?

I like the job Sean Marks has done. His assistant GMs have been hired in New Orleans and soon in Charlotte. He’s clearly respected across the league. However, I don’t know if it’s fair to let him to bring in a FOURTH head coach

If he does stay, please let it be a wide net of candidates. Not hiring a friend. Not hiring the easy choice after firing said friend (with an unnecessary extension attached)

  6. First he quoted Mikel saying it’s a concern that players lost. Than he proceeds to say Jaque Vaughn is not to blame.

    Lewis clearly got too involved.
