@New York Knicks

The Indiana Pacers have made Buddy Hield and Obi Toppin available for trade, per @BrettSiegelNBA

Idk who Brett is trustworthy or not but figured I shared. And before anyone says to bring Obi back, please tell us whose minutes he is taking. Bc Thibs isn’t gonna want to trade Josh Hart for him and this also doesn’t satisfy our needs on a ball handler/scorer off the bench

One Buddy Hield pls, I know he doesn’t work on this roster but idc

  2. No, but this should put to bed any notion that obi would be better than Randle. The dude didn’t even last a quarter of the season as a starter and now not even a full year on the pacers if traded.

Told yall obi will be a guy who gets traded over and over and over again. Maybe we can stop the obi posts every time he has ten points in a game or a nice dunk

The raptors could get Grimes and Obi and do something really funny

  5. TheBottomPilot

We need someone that enjoys cleaning windows. Obi is not the answer.

  6. Do you think the raptors could get obi toppin for Bruce brown? Not sure how salary caps work/luxury tax

Commenters in here who cant wait to shit on Obi.

Obi being put on the trade block is not an indictment of Obi, so stop.

The Pacers just traded 3 1sts for a player who plays Obi’s position, who is in his prime.

The Pacers have to make trades to move the goal posts, because their timeline just moved up.

They have to get better, and now.

Some fans went crazy when Toppin was traded. Convinced he would thrive with more PT instead of seeing what the Knicks saw.

Toppin is what he is as a player: A nice second unit player who can add some energy and hit an open 3. He doesn’t play defense, he’s a horrible rebounder particularly for his size, and can’t create his own shot. It’s not surprising a team with aspirations like the Pacers want out with him.

Unironically this just shows how we messed up drafting.

Buddy is hit garbage, and obv we’re not taking Obi back so not really of any interest to Knicks nation

  11. At times I did want Obi to play so he can gain experience and develop especially during the times where Randle was acting like a cry baby but never did I ever think he was better or should replace Randle and anyone who did; has zero understanding of ball

Obi is a good kid, but he’ll be overseas within two years

  13. He can take Achunwas but it’s ok. Dude cursed out his coach in a playoff game. I loved Obi while he was here but he must’ve lost his goddam mind on that one

Non Knicks related, but damn…if Indy trades Toppin at the deadline that would be kinda funny lmao.

I guess the excitement of Haliburton and Obi is over 😂

I’m coming home I’m coming home.

obi, someone else for fourier. no picks from knicks

C’mon Raptors, pick up Obi to reunite the Knicks younglings.

  18. I’m sure now he’s thinking, “fuck Thibs was right I should’ve stayed home and been Randles back up”
