[Kevin Bowen] Rick Carlisle says Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) will not play tonight. Going to sit him for the next 3 games—Denver, Philly, Phoenix. “Not a re-injury. Just injury recover management type stuff.”

tough 3 games to be without him. 0-3 is not only a real possibility, it’s probably most likely.

I’m excited for potentially some more point Jarace though.

  2. Was really looking forward to watching Siakam / Hali at home for the first time after the 6 game road trip.

Expected them to pull off the upset tonight, big sad.

Glad they are taking it careful with him.

Still a major bummer to not get Tyrese and Pascal on the floor together for more than 1 game. We are (obviously) just such a different team without him, everything on offense becomes so much more difficult for us.

Rushed him back. I knew it. Cant rush back from hamstring.

100% a re injury lol. Rushed him back to play with Siakam it seems like. Who comes back to play 1 game while planning to sit the next 4???

    “Not a re-injury”

    Do I look like a gulli-bull? Or even, a gulli-calf?

You don’t play one game and then sit four and it be injury management type stuff.

Everyone in the game thread was talking about how he was limping during the Portland game.

Every time you turn around he’s out. He’s only gonna play more than 60 games like once in his first 6 years?

OK, for those who haven’t had a hamstring strain before here’s the deal:

They are tricky. No doubt about that. Big part of that is they can feel right before they’re fully healed, and if they tested it out against Portland and it appeared to not be all the way back yet, I can understand why they aren’t calling it a re-injury. But the fact remains he’d be a lot closer to being full go if he didn’t play that game at all

But, again, of it felt right at the time and they wanted to test it, that’s up to the medical staff. Looks like they figured out it was a false alarm that the hamstring was good, so they’re taking more precautions now

  10. I’m not a fan of organizations lying to us like this.

    That’s such an obvious lie.

They are so stupid. It was obvious that he was still hurt playing that game. No matter who was pushing him to come back, it’s really on coaching/FO. It was either someone in that group or it was Tyrese, in which case they should have protected him from himself.

You would think after all the bad luck regarding their stars’ injuries this team would be a little more paranoid about taking care of him.

  12. So why the hell did we play him against the Blazers the other night.
