“Hartenstein (Achilles) remains listed as questionable but is considered unlikely to play Tuesday against Brooklyn, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
Hartenstein appears on track to miss his first game of the season after exiting Saturday’s 126-100 win over the Raptors with an injury that the Knicks are labeling as left Achilles tendinopathy.
Assuming Hartenstein is ruled out ahead of the 7:30 p.m. ET opening tip, Jericho Sims is expected to slot in as the starting center, though Precious Achiuwa had been running as Hartenstein’s primary backup of late and could end up seeing the larger share of minutes. After Hartenstein’s early departure Saturday, Achiuwa stepped in to post 18 points, 11 rebounds and one block in 25 minutes.”

This is his final audition.
Unfortunately, I do feel as if he’s regressed a little this year. Call it lack of playing time. IDGAF..
This kid is a dump truck on a trampoline. He needs to go out there tonight and knock mothrfkr’s around and play if he has some nuts. When you’re that big you can’t play scared… or else you get Obi Toppin’d the fuck outta town.
LFG Sims !!!!!!!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player more set up to fail than Sims. Going from 3rd string and never getting minutes unless it’s a blowout to expecting to hold his own against starting centers. The rigidity of keeping the bench unit together is insane.

I wished Thibs would’ve trusted Sims with more spot minutes here and there. He’s just not experienced enough currently and his confidence must be shot.He looked completely unmotivated when he’s on the court this year.I hope he surprises tonight and earns some favor from Thibs

Problem is he’s either ready to start or missing off the face of the earth. Nothing in between which is alittle unfair to him. 10 games of DNPs and then you’re going against a starting C.
