In laymen’s term, this season is done.
Gotta do your job and bring this team together coach!
They all went through trauma and being there is a constant reminder, time will help but it’s understandable. Some things are more important than winning.
Massive kudos to them for managing to come to practice and make it competitive and upbeat when it’s still so fresh. Anyone who has suffered a trauma like the one they have (or really any kind of trauma) knows how enormously difficult, if not borderline impossible, that is to do. I can’t imagine
Season could be toast (perfectly understandable given everything) or it could bring them together and they can be inspired. No way to know until they take the court.
