Terry Rozier TRADED to the Miami Heat and it makes them SCARIER…

Yo what’s going on y’all it’s con back here again today with another video and today we’ve got another trade to go ahead and break down it’s trade deadline season rumors are circling all over the place and names are already being moved we still have two weeks over two weeks

Even till the trade deadline and we’ve already seen some pretty big moves be made we start off with the ojen and noi trade right before the new year sending him over to the New York Knicks the Raptors continued their tear down a few days ago when they traded Pascal seak to

Indiana and now today I woke up to the news that Terry Rosier had been dealt from the Charlotte Hornets who just beat the timberl in the game where cats had the franchise record in points over to the Miami Heat in exchange for Kyle Lowry and a 2027 first round pick that’s

Lottery protected but if it doesn’t convey then it conveys in 2028 as an unprotected first round pick it’s not the biggest move in the world it’s not like an Allstar Superstar caliber player being traded but it’s one that I think is a pretty big deal it means a lot for

The Hornets and the direction they’re going in I think we’re going to see a lot more trades from them coming up here soon and as for the Miami Heat it helps alleviate one of their biggest issues and it gives him a really really good player to add on to this squad that has

Already continuously found a way to play spoiler in the playoffs they never look like the best team on paper they’re consistently considered underdogs yet they find ways to get it done make it to the Eastern Conference Finals the finals and with the squad they’re building right now especially if they make a

Couple more moves before the deadline which it seems like they’re set up to do this could end up being the best Heat team that we’ve seen in the Jimmy Butler era and that’s a thought that should be really scary for the rest of the Eastern Conference so I decided to go ahead and

Make a video talking about this it shouldn’t be super long also there’s a chance you may see two videos today I want to talk about Jan beat 70o game but I’m making a more like overall video about the way some of the big men in the league have been playing recently maybe

I’ll just save the talk about the 70 point game for that video but just letting you know mayy and after the buzz we’re talking about embat 70o game at some point today soon so leave a like And subscribe if you enjoy this and want to see that video later and let’s go

Ahead and get into the trade I think I want to start off with the Hornets perspective cuz I don’t have as much to say about them overall I think it’s fine it’s not the best return in the world for Tera Rosier who is in the midst of a

Career season but at the same time it gets the job done really what I was looking for for the Hornets at this trade deadline as we continue to get closer to it is to just deal guys away if there’s any team right now that should be having a fire sale it’s

Probably the Charlotte Hornets they’ve spent years of staying in the middle trying to compete with you know guys like Rosier and Goran Hayward alongside lamelo ball they’re trying to find a way to get to the playoffs but this team is very clearly really far away at this

Point and trading a guy away like Terry Rosier opens up minutes for a lot of the young guys that you’re going to need to develop as you try and build towards the future guys like a Nick Smith Jr for example who’s only playing about 15 minutes per game but in those minutes

Has been pretty solid as a rookie I’ve been impressed with him I hope he gets a lot more run now from here till the end of the season because that’s what the Hornet should be doing they should be playing these young guys a lot of minutes to try and go ahead and develop

Him see what he can do alongside lamelo ball maybe that’s your back court of the future you’ve also got Brandon Miller now who’s going to get more shots attempts and he’s been phenomenal this season kind of flown under the radar not as flashy as some of the other top

Rookies out there but he’s a player who’s making a real impact for this Hornets team and I think he’s going to be really really good now you give him more shot opportunities I mean last night against the timber wols he went kind of crazy and he has been doing that

A lot recently so excited to see what he can do with more shots a bunch of other young guys on that team as well this is a team that should be prioritizing Youth and trying to develop your young talent for the rest of the season and Beyond

And by trading Terry Rosier that’s what they’re doing here they’re now going to have to figure out they do with Lowry I assume they’re going to try and flip him but I’d be honestly surprised if they found a Suitor out there for a guy making $30 million who isn’t that great

At this point in his career now I do still think he can make some type of impact in a limited number of minutes especially for a top level team which I expect to happen when he probably ends up getting bought out I think that’s the most likely outcome for the Hornets they

Could keep him on the roster as like a mentor to some of these young guys if they wanted to but I feel like it’ probably be best for both sides to just give more mint to the young guys for the Hornets and let lry go compete by just

Buying him out that’s probably the best outcome for both parties I expect them to continue to make trades for the rest of this deadline season Goran Hayward is probably the next guy up another player that I think could be a potential buyout candidate I just don’t know if anybody

Wants to take on his massive salary but if he’s a buyout guy I think a number of teams would come looking for him there’s been rumors that they’re looking to trade like PJ Washington Nick Richards miles Bridges really anybody that they don’t see as part of this core going

Forward they should be looking to find some assets for and it seems like they’re going to do that which I’m really excited about I become more optimistic about the horns future as of late I like lamelo ball Brandon Miller Mark Williams a lot as a big three potentially Nick Smith Jr’s been fun

Among some other young guys I’m just happy the Hornets are going in this direction they’re not close at all to competing right now don’t try and do so just take your time see what you can do with his youth movement it’s a way better Direction than what the Hornets

Have been trying to do over the past few years as for the draft pick I wouldn’t hold your breath if you’re a Hornets fan on that conveying to you in 2028 as a lottery pick the heat just always seem to find ways to remain relevant even if

They’re not great I mean Jimmy Butler is going to be like four 40 at that point but even still they’ll probably find some way to still be a playoff team so it’ll probably be like right outside the lottery type of pick in 2027 or you know that he’d also find ways to attract

Superstars so maybe they find a way to go ahead and add somebody like that at the very least it’s some type of asset in exchange for Rosier who you weren’t planning on keeping anyways but now let’s go ahead and talk about Miami it’s honestly just kind of weird to see that

He actually do something at the trade deadline I feel like the past few years they’ve done nothing I know last year they’re one of the very few teams to not make a single move at the deadline one of my best friends Matt is a huge Heat

Fan and he complained a lot about it he’s like why didn’t we do anything and then of course they found their way to the final so maybe it was the right move but he stoked about this trade and I am too I think this is a massive

Acquisition for the Heat and Do’s way more for them than people realize this Heat team has found a way to stay as a top six seed despite a number of injuries Jimmy Butler has missed a bunch of time hero missed a ton of time at the beginning of the Season bamb de bio

Missed a bunch in this middle chunk of the season so far Hae hawz is dealing with an injury right now they’ve been decimated pretty much everybody in the roster has missed a bunch of time at one point or another yet they’ve still stayed as a top six seed and a lot of

That has been their defense they’ve been one of the better defensive teams in the League this season the 10th overall defense but offensively it’s been a struggle they’re just the 20th ranked offense and we’ve seen them run into problems with it at times in the playoffs in the finals specifically when

Denver turned up the defensive intensity they couldn’t really do much they didn’t have a lot of shot creation especially when Tyler hero went down they need more guys who can go out there and get Buckets I’ve said a lot of times on this channel I really like Jimmy and what he

Does in the playoffs where he turns it up to 30 on a scale 1 to 10 and can give you like 35 a night it’s amazing and it’s great that the Heat have a a guy that’s able to do that but it would be nice if they had more options just

Around Jimmy baller so he doesn’t have to do as much rir gives you exactly that so far this season he’s having a career year 23.2 points per game 3.9 boards and 6.6 assists with 1.1 Steals on 46% shooting from the field and 36% from Deep those are phenomenal numbers he’s

Been forced to be a top option A lot of the season with lamelo ball HT and that’s kind of what he did last year but last year he was incredibly inefficient this season he’s way more efficient the playmaking has also been way better than usual this is a career-high in assists

He’s not an amazing pass or playmaker by any means but it’s been way better than it’s typically been in the past Rosier is kind of having his best season ever nearing age 30 and that’s amazing for the heat they’re getting a guy now who can playmake a little bit for you at the

Guard position can go out there and absolutely get you bucket whether it’s on ball off ball he’s played both roles over the course of his career and especially recently playing alongside lamelo ball he’s thrived in either position if you need him to go out there and take over a game he’s capable of

That it’s a big time help for Jimmy Butler and now between Jimmy hero Rosier and Bam you’ve got four guys that could theoretically go out there and give you a 30 piece on any given night I mean hell even haime Hawkins could go ahead and do it and I know some random role

Player for the heat at some point during the playoffs is going to do it against Boston or Milwaukee or whoever they face off against in in the first run second round whatever this is a team that needed that offensive punch especially in the deeper rounds of the playoffs if

You have to face a team like the Boston Celtics you need more guys who can go out there and get you buckets because a team like that if they were just able to focus down Jimmy primarily Force Tyler hero and Bam to beat them it’s going to

Be hard to win games now with Rosier it gives you another option it gives you a better chance they’ve been looking for this bucket getting type of point guard for a while I mean Heroes kind of played that role but I like him a lot better as the two option now you could

Theoretically stagger their minutes to have one of those guys on the court at all times which is huge for your offense I think it’s going to be a massive boost I don’t think people realize how much ter Roser has leveled up his game as of late and how much he’s going to help

This Heat team this could be one of the most underrated pickups of this entire trade deadline which is kind of the Miami heatso they’re really good at being underrated The Underdogs and I think Rosier adds that mentality perfectly there are a couple of questions that I have that I’ve seen a

Lot of people bring up the first one is what about the guard defense yeah it’s kind of rough if you start Roser and hero that’s not a backward that’s going to get you a lot of stops but they still have Jimmy Butler they’ve got Hae hoaks they’ve got Haywood heith they have Bama

Like they’ve still got good defensive guys some guys that come off the bench as well and overall Kyle Larry wasn’t giving you that much defensively either that used to be kind of hiso where he was a high level Defender 38-year-old Kyle Lowry wasn’t stopping anybody he was getting blown by consistently now at

Least with Rosier you’ve got a little bit of offensive punch to make up for that defensive issue and he at the very least is going to give you effort the heat also always just find ways to get guys to really buy defensively I wouldn’t be surprised if they did that

With Rosier as well and he turned into a lot better Defender than he’s been in the past the playmaking is also a little bit of a question mark although Roser is averaging a high number of assists he’s not the best passer in the world Larry was their best passer before they traded

Him so they don’t have like this floor General type of point guard anymore which may not matter because rosier’s a decent passer Jimmy Butler is solid as a playmaker hero can do a little bit B the bio is good they run a lot of actions through him especially on the high post

And Eric spuler is a great coach I think he can probably figure this thing out I would like to see them somehow add another point guard presence if possible at the deadline in addition to some size that’s the big thing I’m looking for with this Heat team now I want to see

Them add a backup big or just some more front Court presence and one trade that I’ve seen people bring up over the course of the past couple hours since the trade happened that I would love for them is if they could potentially find a way to add like tyus Jones and Daniel

Gafford from the Washington Wizards I think those guys would both be phenomenal pickups even if they could just get one of those guys I’d like that a lot I would like Kell linic a lot for this team I know he’s been here before in Miami there’s the whole thing that he

And Kevin Love would be playing together and at one point he did Rip Kevin Love’s arm out of his socket so maybe that’s not the best for team chemistry but it’s years ago maybe they made up at this point I don’t know I would like to see

Them add a little bit more of depth in the front Court they need a better backup big for bam maybe someone to help fill in at some power for minutes as well if you could at a playmaker too I’d like that there are a couple more moves

I’ would still like to see the Heat make but there’s plenty of time they’ve got some assets they always find ways to get cheap players I’m sure they can find find guys on the bout Market as well cuz it’s the Miami Heat like if Gordon Hayward got bought out I wouldn’t hate

That pickup at all for them but for right now I like this trade a lot I don’t think this is the last move they’re going to make but I do think it’s a huge one for them it makes them a way better overall team makes them a lot

More well-rounded and I think makes them way scarier going into the playoffs if you weren’t scared of the heat already this is a move that I think makes them way scarier but yeah with all that being said I think those are my overall thoughts on the Rosier trade let me know

Down below what your takeaways were who’s the biggest winner who’s the biggest loser what would you grade it for both sides and what moves do you think the heat should make to continue to build off of this momentum I appreciate you watching like I said earlier leave like And subscribe if you

Enjoyed it helps the channel out a ton I’ll see y’all later real one say back

The NBA Trade Deadline season continued today with the Charlotte Hornets trading Terry Rozier over to the Miami Heat in exchange for Kyle Lowry and a first round pick. It’s not one of the biggest trades out there, but it’s a move that shakes up the Eastern Conference more than one might expect. Rozier brings some much needed offensive punch to the Heat and this could be just the first of many moves from them. Let’s talk about it.

  1. I think he's a good addition but I really don't think Miami is "scary". Their offense is kind of terrible most nights. I hope this improves it because watching most Heat games is torturous.

  2. The amount of depth the heat now have compared to the other teams in the east is insane. Yes the Celtics have a better starting 5 but heat have a way better bench.

  3. I’ll wait and see if this moves the needle at all cause his numbers are high on a not great team and fairly undersized, have seen far too many teams hype a trade at first then reality sets in and ain’t what they dreamed it would be. Heat just lost 3 to fairly weak teams so this ain’t last year’s Cinderella story especially since the true contenders got even stronger. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  4. You are trying to argue that Charlotte for the 20th year in a row needs to be prioritizing youth? They just dealt away an elite scorer in his prime on a solid contract for a single late first round pick several years from now. They need a new front office because their franchise is a mess.

  5. You should make a video about last night as a whole. Embiid scores 70, KAT scores 62, KD scores 40ish including an insanely difficult game winner in a game that was super competitive and exciting at the end. Just a great night all around for hoops

  6. Heat made the finals with goran/duncan robinson and vincent/strus lmao rozier/herro will be just fine

  7. Rozier was actually considered to be a high level defender for his size coming into the league, and he was a solid point of attack defender with the C's, with some added switchability. Only after he was given a heavier offensive load with the Hornets, and on Hornets teams with bad overall team chemistry, did he gain the reputation as a liability on D. He's likely not a real downgrade from Lowry at this point in their careers on the defensive end, and under the Heat's defense-focused schemes, he could possibly turn into that solid point of attack defender he once was. Herro is actually a solid rebounder for his size and position, and he has improved on the defensive end more than people realize. That tandem probably won't be as bad as people think with their defensive contributions. With Jimmy, Jaquez, and Bam, and some other solid defenders in the rotation, there shouldn't be a drop-off on D. If anything, more efficient offense reduces the pressure on the defense, so both ends likely will improve. The Heat have been good at bringing the best out of point guards, extending the career of Lowry, and making a long line of mediocre guys look better than their ability (Vincent, Nunn, Tyler Johnson, Chalmers), and Rozier is a bit better then mediocre.

  8. the heat actually did do something at the deadline last year. they picked up kevin love on a vet minimum, which was actually integral to their run. he’s been killing it in his back up 5 minutes too

  9. Rozier addition was really good for us honestly, would've loved it if Nick Richards was in the deal as well but that's being too greedy lmao. But yea we definitely do still need a backup 5 to backup Bam still

  10. This might put them over the top if they are healthy. If Terry gonna do anything it’s handle and score the rock. Takes a lot of offensive pressure off Butler & Bam in the playoffs. Scary Terry has shown he can perform in the postseason too

  11. Major upgrade for the Heat. Kyle Lowry has not been much at all these days . He used to be a solid PG but he’s went down hill. Scary Terry is gonna be great alongside Herro.

  12. Rozier is not a big fancy name to the normal day to day person. but those who watch basketball knows that Rorizer is PROBLEM.. in fact its a perfect piece to heats playing system
