I loved Tiago! The revenge block he got in The Game 5 was awesome!

It sucks knowing that he’s pretty much guaranteed to become a forgotten spur for future generations.
He just didn’t produce enough stats to ever be someone that’s going to stand out on box scores or highlight Videos are when people watch or replays in 20 years.
Because he was one of the smartest players I’ve ever seen. He was pretty much a seasoned vet from day one and extremely underrated passer, and set some mean screens.
He, and the prototype before him Fabricio oberto, were masters of “anti stats” defending in the sense that they were so hyper focused on positioning, team defense, always being in the right places at the right time and absolutely maximizing every shred of limited athleticism, and a natural skill, they had, that they didn’t really rack up a ton of blocks, steals, or super impressive rebounding numbers
But both, splitter in particular, we’re absolutely amazing team defenders.
