the Pacers continue to have one of the worst whistles in the league, we’ve arguably lost our last 3 games because of horrendous reffing down the stretch of games.

It’s been like this for years. I’m surprised Sabonis is still in the league with the abuse he received without whistles being called.

Whining about the refs is the lamest of all sports takes.

Part of the problem in my eyes is vague rules in the NBA.

Siakam can be called for a moving screen 2 games ago, but another set of refs will interpret the rule differently with Jokic yesterday. When it’s clear Jokic saw Sheppard going for Murray and moved to get in his way

There are so many inconsistencies in how the rules are interpreted, that one of Quinn’s catchphrases is “they’re letting them play today”. The players shouldn’t have to learn how each ref interprets the rules every game.

In some ways that’s just the nature of a high pace game like basketball but in some ways the NBA does not hold their refs accountable for lack of consistency

I feel like we’re being treated as the new phoenix suns.

Pacers play a fast pace with lots of catch and shoot open looks, heavy on assists. Our defense is poor and has to play in recovery mode too often leading to out of position play which leads to fouls. Every team plays different, but yet number of fouls called for and against must be even for every team?

It’s hard to play good defense when we aren’t allowed to touch the opposition.

The reverse of the offensive foul on jokic was such horse shit last night
