He seems like such a great guy I hope he makes it.

He definitely has the talent to carve out a role.

Rooting for him, but there’s a lot he needs to work on. His last two performances were truly abysmal. He can’t be an NBA big and be as weak of a rebounder as he’s been and he needs to be able to score from *somewhere* on the floor. He hasn’t been able to convert in the paint when he’s gotten opportunities and his three point shooting is not consistent enough to call him a floor spacer.

Now normally he has the very good excuse of coming from the G League and suddenly facing far superior competition in the NBA, but that wasn’t the case against Memphis. That was a bad team missing most of its best players, so there’s no good reason he should have looked as inept as he did against them.

Good stuff, I wanted the article to keep going.

  5. Instantly showed more potential than Precious or Malachi in such a short amount of time, frustrates me all the more we wasted time on those 2.

  6. He’s smart. I think once he adjusts to the NBA speed, he’ll be fine.
I remember that outlet pass he threw to Scottie Barnes for an and-one. I thought I would never see that coming from a Raptors big man.

Love how he’s playing, I honestly think he could be a good backup big when poeltl comes back. Past two games weren’t great but I’ve seen him play good, too. Just need him to adjust to the NBA and we’ll be good. Rooting for this guy.

Finding diamonds in the rough was a way of life for the Raptors a few years back.

Happy to see we found one!

This guy seems to be just a good dude! And he definitely has a good touch around the basket and can occasionally hit a 3.
