Orlando Magic Reporter says that Patrick Beverly sent a plant into their press conference to ask a question about himself.



After the Magic’s game against the 76ers a reporter who is not normally at the Magic’s press conference asked a question to Wendell Carter about the team and if they pay any attention to the things said by Pat Bev as he had just tweeted about them a few minutes before. Beverly then uses a clip of this and the answer during his podcast.

I guess it gives them promotion for the pod but don’t teams vet that stuff when determining who gets access to ask questions of the players? I remember Rone saying he didn’t actually have one for the Sixers yet to interview players on the team postgame or it’s been way harder to get
